Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
BP trading at £5+ so in the case of a future theoretical **************, I would speculate an exchange factor of about 2000 to 1 for a bad outcome in the Caymans. For a mediocre outcome say 1000 to 1. For the best outcome, 500 to 1 for the outcome we are all hoping for. Mr RR and others who may have been on the wacky backyard or Jolly juice may expect more, but after what we have been through, I think we might all be thankful for one of these outcomes.
One of our Potential Major Partners has been celebrating. To the East of Block 12 is a now well-developed gas field which is on the same Geological basin as ours. LTI's will be warmed by the news that Shah Deniz in the Caspian Sea, off the coast of Azerbaijan has produced 100 Billion cubic metres of gas since production started 12 years ago. It is BP's biggest gas field. They will have been waiting patiently for the chance to join forces with us in Georgia. I am intrigued to hear what has been going on with them during the silence enforced during the NDA. how many new holes have been started? How many old ones have started to be redeveloped? What sort of test results have we had? When the fog and doom and gloom lifts, what delights will our patience be rewarded with? With good results and the inevitable released partnering announcements, the relisting SP would have to be higher than a penny, which was my prediction for the end of 2018/19 financial year. If you value every positive aspect with a 1p addition to the shareprice, I think 5p is not out of the ballpark. As for when? I will say when Zaza is good and ready, but sometime this year is more likely than not. Why not May, if all goes well? GLA!
I have thought a lot about what the BOD can say to shareholders during the proceedings in Cayman. There is very probably very little that can they can say until the court has decided or an ooc settlement is concluded. IMO better not to say anything more or less than they have already said and what is public knowledge. In the balance of probabilities, the company deserves to win and free themselves of all impediments to their choice of how to manage things. If and when Hope tries to restrict and impede them, he builds more of a case against himself. Time is in the company’s favour. I expect a good result and a relisting by FRR when it is in their best interests to do so,
Thank you for that little shanty, seaman Stains. Oo arr.
There has been a bad storm and we have been forced to stop our journey for a while and put in to the nearest port for repairs on the Cayman Islands. One of the officers has tried to steal some of the cargo, and we have to also wait for it to be sorted out in the Cayman courts. It’s time to have a damage report and a report on our ongoing travel plans. Meanwhile, Captain Zaza and crew continue to sell oil and gas from our huge block 12 tanks and we are still afloat but not moving forward. Each passenger has a share of the oil but cannot sell while we remain in the port. It’s a forced vacation, but once the mechanics have fixed the engine and we have permission to sail again, we will continue. Captain Zaza and the crew shake their heads in disbelief when they hear that some passengers say the ship will not sail again. One thing is certain, the seas are very stormy and it is not a bad time to stay in port for a while. So hey ho and up she rises. Sing a sea shanty, say your prayers, have a shot or two of rum and teach the parrots ???? to stop cursing. When we set sail again, the weather will be fair.
Reading share prices on AIM is a tough call for a day trader. Positive news in theory should result in a steady rise, but traders and shorters trade it and here we are. The long term holder in a very good prospect like this must hold firm.
I really appreciate it when other long term holders give us a reality check on what that means. I am a Geologist with a good appreciation for the potential of the Weald basin and that’s why I am here and have been, like many others quietly watching as the exciting story unfolds. Something I can assure people of is the high likelihood of increased flows from sidetracking holes. Drilling perpendicular to the strata gives the operator a stable well to operate from. Sidetracking taps into the confirmed oil bearing formation and any high yielding pools of oil that are likely to exist along it and through it. Exciting times, folks.
I come here two or three times a week, watching, waiting and hoping for some real news about progress with the legal wrangling and other news, potentially about partnerships or even news from the site about developments there. Since the SP is not tradeable, comments that may affect it are neither ramping or deramping. It ain't going anywhere at the moment, so chill. The so-called Trolls are really just virtual reality ghosts. Blocking them is only good because we don't get them clogging up these precious lines of communication. I appreciate people lending us the benefit of their experience with other companies that have delisted and then listed again. Thanks all for your helpful commentary. All the best. Davethebrave
I have taken a look at what people have had to say here since Christmas. I see this scenario as neutral because I had no intention or need to sell my shares for the foreseeable future anyway. Being a geologist and appreciating the significance of slow processes, I find myself feeling like an Ent relative to the relatively hasty downhearted ones. I really sympathise with the pain some feel, but it really isn’t helping. FRR has excited me over the past few years. I don’t regret having bought a few million shares in it. Don’t write your investment off. My quiet word is “patience”.
5p, I was wondering what you meant by "unlocked the Geology". I think there is plenty of Geological information made available on the FRR website. Perhaps you meant "results of recent flow testing" instead?
.....and on the subject of getting an update from Zaza, I think that is forthcoming too. I smile when I think of the difficulty he had at the shareholders meetings, when he wanted to give us information and had to abide by the rules of AIM and the LSE. Well I am not so sure he is gagged like that any more, now that we are a private company. Like I said, it is time to listen and be patient for what is coming. I have written to Zaza, suggesting that it would be good to know more, when he is in a position to let us know more. - Best wishes - Dave
The Daves are believers, it seems. Long term investors in this company are still exactly that. Registered shareholders have NOT had their shares taken away from them. They have simply been de-listed from an exchange which frankly had not done us any favours over the years. They can not be traded TEMPORARILY. We are not day traders, are we? This will certainly be part of a long term strategy to best build the company and its assets from where we are, to where it should be. Those who are cursing loudest and insisting that our shares are worthless need to calm themselves and keep the faith. Watch this space, monitor the proceedings of the court case and stay in touch. The actions of the Company must be in favour of the Long term shareholders. We have something to look forward to, my fellow investors in the Private company.
Smiles everywhere with FRR. Looking forward to the rewards of faith in FRR. Good luck all LTH’ers.
Decided to visit the board today, anticipating some news on the 2nd major and the potential effects on my investment. Disappointed to see it has become a place to debate the pros and cons of Brexit. Write to your MP’s like I did, if you feel strongly about it, but here on the board it dilutes FRR-related discussion. I will comment on the value of Sterling, whatever the result of the Brexitting. Uncertainty in the economy causes Devaluation of our currency. This reduces the value of our investments in real terms. Say what you like about trade, exports, imports whatever, the shares reduce in real value with devaluation. So let’s hope for certainty and stability in the value of Sterling and vote for that, if it comes to a vote of any sort. All the possible options at the moment on any sort of vote, election or referendum, look like roads to uncertainty. This share looks like one of the few places to put your money because of the huge upside of the anticipated announcements.
News from the boozer? Would that perhaps have been a Burton’s ale? 🥴
Actually, I’m not sure if I can understand the market if the closing SP is blue and +5%. Then I blink and come back after hours to chat and I see it’s dropped back the the starting price. Who can understand the market, when basics like that are misreported?
Yep, Friday. I have not forgotten that Zaza told us to expect some announcements of great importance before the end of 2018. Time passes and such an announcement is sitting on a tightly coiled spring. Any day, any time. If there are shorters waiting for this SP to drop, I don’t pity them when the announcement comes. It will be a real FRRight for them. As for us LTH’s, we will break FRRee from the doldrums as the grand plan to develope Block 12 comes to FRRuition. This is what we are here for.
Rainbow, thanks for your light-hearted and creative posts. The evil ones spill over into LSE once in a while from the shark-infested waters of places like share prophets, where they don’t swim in salt water, they ingest and deal in pure venom all day every day. Perhaps they come here or frighten lesser predators here once in a while when there’s a feeding frenzy. The reason for the evil is greed and avarice. Soon they will choke in envy. Look forward to that, very very soon. Shorts will burn!
Stormy seas, folks. Some deeper waves in this part of the ocean, so batten down the hatches and grit your teeth. Hold on to something stable and get a grip. Remember on the other side of every wave there’s the upside and the calmer water. Not long before we will be riding our Super Tsunami.
Black Friday is behind us. There are still great bargains to be had, and FRR is one of them. This week is probably the last really good week to buy our "christmas presents" at such fantastic bargain basement prices before it becomes very very expensive. Everyone here has been shaking the presents, some have been sniffing them, weighing them up and finding them quite heavy. Try not to smoke near the Christmas tree, as I suspect there may be gas leaking from the present. Very tempting to make happy guesses about what lies beneath those gaudy wrappers. As for all the shenanigans with shysters: Santa has been careful to prevent them from getting their hands on our gifts. Three cheers for Santa!
