Well, I'm in a few AIM shares but I don't see many £300k buys going through. Makes my top up this week look a bit paltry. Two massively advantaged positions in Hectorite and Talc and a stronger, if thinned down, Coatings portfolio, a bunch of cost savings happened and more in the pipe, Debt coming down with a great cash generation programme - what is not to love about the progress.

Paddy, re Artemis and trouser trouble, I was sitting next to their CEO (?) at the last year's GGP AGM and he was already in a massively over-excited state. However, at mention of his name (which I have now forgotten) on this BB, a barrage of abuse got hurled at him and his previous investing behaviours with pump and dump being the general view. Hence all the Artemis chat on HC might be him doing what he does best.

Again guys, thanks. Yes, I’m in for the long haul. Got about 3.5m and been in over two years. I did get a bit excited at the first NM opportunity and bought a few too many at a high price but that’s life. Not yet sold a single share and this derisking makes it all good. I will buy a few more for my kid’s ISAs. Regards

Please can someone help me understand the “Farm in” better. It’s a new one for me. Newcrest promise to invest $65m over six years and for that they get(?) 70% of the Haverion JV. Say the JV is worth £500m, then their share is worth £350m and ours is £150m, about 2.5 times current (GGP) value. So if H is the main asset which drives GGP value, then my shares worth 2p now will be worth 5 p then. I will not have needed to fund the capital to develop the mine or had dilution, and I might have even had some divis. At the same time, if other assets become viable, this will be additional to the GGP sp. Is that basically a correct understanding or am I off beam? Sprot’s appearance has not done a lot for my MTR holding which is languishing at a fair loss. I still keep the faith in GGP but the sudden need to get the warrants turned round “for administrative purposes” feels a bit odd to me. Couple of things keep me on the bus. 1) as others have said you can’t I find the gold. 2) the cash goes to the company to fund more drilling and make us even more of a tasty morcel for the big boys. So if some HNW fat cat makes a couple of grand and puts themselves at risk of a police visit then so be it.

Sorry if I have caused confusion. When i used the word "boss", I was answering mickey1122's question whether it was the boss (who turns out to be David L) or his sidekick who said he had recently invested in GGP. It was this David L guy. From all the comments about him that then appeared here, people seem to think he is the Devil's nasty cousin, hence Voldemort. I never met the guy before and he was pleasant enough to me at the AGM.

For those shareholders that start in a positive mood, this was a very encouraging meeting despite the Nomad keeping GH in check for what was allowed to be said. For the shareholders who distrust GH, you would not have changed your mind. I'm in the positive camp.
As far as the Australian mining community and press are concerned, this is a monster find and they certainly know more than me. I was sitting next to a chap who claimed to be the Chairman of the company that owns a license next to ours. I took him at his word, especially when GH said there were a number of Australian mining experts in the room and nodded in this guy's direction. His sidekick also asked some detailed questions which got the full technical response back. He has just brought into GGP and he said it was a monster find. (for those in the room, he was the one that called out the max drilling depth achieved by our drilling partner of 3,624 metres)
It is true that GH did not say exactly where he will drill, exactly how he will fund everything nor say when the final year's assays will be out, which major he is/isn't talking to, all exactly as you would expect him not to. He did not rule out becoming a mining company either.
The BoD sat there all confident in what they are pretty sure is a fantastic bundle of assets being proven up at a pace appropriate for the working capital at their disposal.
I just need to free up up a bit more cash and buy some more GGP shares!

GH just asked for more chairs to be taken in to the room!

I know there are few who use this forum for chat, but I thought a £1,100,000 buy was worthy of comment.
BTW I still have complete confidence in the Leaders of this business.

Surprise surprise, BP were not planning to just make us rich overnight and had done their own calculations to show an ROI to the buyer which SDX think they can outperform on their own. I’m with the BOD. Don’t overpay and get on the hamster wheel at someone else’s forecasts.

Thanks for the reminder of why I chose GGP as one of my LTH roulette wheel spins. GGP's fully owned (and mainly now funded) sites make it feel a better gamble than most and I just can't be ar$ed to day trade as I have a day job to do as well. Like all real people on here, I have had a few spins where my number has not come up so not claiming excellence in any way.
Think I better find another £5k and get more chips down on the table.

Not exactly last of the big spenders but had to split it into 2 and 3k to get it through. Been a bit of a roller coaster but thought a top up was in order.

I’m not sure where everyone has gone, but even GGP has gone quiet in comparison to a week or so. My money is in Christmas shopping.

This is a great business with a Management Team that is actually doing what it says it will, and delivering the results to plan. SH acquired and integrated. Future M&A likely to build scale and strength. Back above £3 soon for sure.
