Well, we can guess. The delay to Biden's cash give away in the US might make people worry about their Coatings business, and the Evergrande issue might be doing the same for their China/Asia growth strategy/investment. You would expect the Marine Coatings business to be in good shape. The Deo business should be bouncing back as people re-emerge into more social contact. All guesses of course (I have no inside knowledge).
I have worked with the Management Team in the past and rate them highly, that's why I'm invested here.

Strange A, the general climate on EUA is spending a lot of time buffeted by stormy BB "botflies" with a strong bunch of long term holders sitting firm and happy.
I was lucky enough to get in before the suspension, more by luck than judgement, so just sitting it out waiting for the divi and then I will decide what to do next.

Apologies for any potential repetition, like others I am massively frustrated by Accustem. My broker, Barclays, knows nothing and gave me the number of Accustem’s Registrar, Link Group (0371 6640300). After a long time on the phone to Corporate Actions while they went to find who ACC were, they told me they only have one bit of info on ACC, and that just says it exists, but provides no further details at all. This certainly does not reduce my frustration level.

As well as that, why BMR remains in suspension keep what is left of our cash stuck going nowhere instead of trying to recoup a bit in JLP.

Peter, the straight answer is that a Dyke is a (fundamentally) vertical igneous intrusion through a sedimentary layer of rocks, often, but not always associated with volcanic activity.

I really think Aston's answer should have been "yes, unless you have put it a a tax free vehicle like an ISA or a SIPP". The tax man is never very generous in letting you get extra money/income without them taking their cut. Calling it a "Special" dividend doesn't make it so special that it is tax free.
