I do get that. But I think you are taking a scientific pov and this has moved on. The government, who BTW are not having a blinder on this one, have worked us up into a state of panic, people are dying either due to C19 or having been tested positive in the recent past. Yes, a large number of these may have not had many years left to live, but the unfortunate nature of the lockdown and the restrictions has been very traumatic and lonely for many of the deceased and their relatives. the scares are real. So, wearing masks can help stop the spread and will, hopefully, enable us to ease restrictions so that we can visit our relatives in care homes, talk to our old neighbours to reduce our/their loneliness, and even have a good time.
BTW, this is also a great product/opportunity to invest in.

Littletrader, I do agree with your numbers and your facts. However I find your conclusion wide of the mark. Yes, the excess deaths has got a lot of people in a spin and the economic impact (as well as the mental health impact) will be left with our children and grandchildren, but wearing masks remains a good way to protect those around us and will become the norm and even a fashion statement for the next decade or so. We all want to get out of lockdown, not try to infect our neighbours and passers by and the mask is a visible sign of care (whether you do actually care or not)

Agree its a low ball and an easy rejection for the Board, but likely to help them redouble their efforts on Cost Management, Cash Management and Growth. Might enable them to restart the divi which would, in turn, help the sp.

Could well be. Its a stable business (in "normal" times) and the cash generation is very good with debt being paid down fast enough to the current circumstances. It was up to and over 2 pounds before people were spooked by the last acquisition and then the virus hit. Would be good to get back there now the debt has proved manageable.

I like this sp direction. Glad I added after Covid hit, but I'm still hopeful to get back to the 300s like the past. Lots of faith in the management team here, and the CEO in particular.

Hi Mush, thanks for posting this and reminding me the stellar and consistent track we have been on, and will likely stay on. It can be too easy to see the last few weeks as going sideways but your data reminds me (at least), this is not the case.

I don't really get your problem.
We are talking small companies and the CEOs are going to be average people, doing their best, but not surrounded by excellent teams. This is AIM after all and everyone knows its a casino.
If you have sold (at a loss) then just offset it against the piles of money you have made in your other well researched shares and move on.
I'm not trying to be rude, but I think you have mistaken AIM for a savings account.

JET, I appreciate your story, but I see it differently. Starting with the govt needs money to run the country (well or badly, either way) it needs to raise taxes. I would rather reduce tax on income earned by the individual that reduce tax on income passed down from one generation to another which that individual did not earn. So yes it would be taxed twice, but it favours the person that has earned the money as opposed to someone that has been given it in my book.
BTW just short of 40 years earning money, about to be made redundant and will benefit from an estate in due course (but hopefully not too soon)

Great to seethe classic GGP share price profile today on a news day. Opens higher, drops lower, faffs a round for a bit and then goes nowhere. Then all of a sudden rocket in the right direction, skywards!
I hope the story continues tomorrow with the same pattern as before and we settle into our new 2/3p higher range. Even better, the next news is just round the corner so we can do it all again in a week's time.
What's not to love.

I've said it on this BB before, the management team are top notch and the CEO is both very smart and very operational. The costs savings measures are accelerating the debt reduction. The choice of things to buy was smart and margin positive as well as future thinking.
I'm here for the long run.
