Yes CR they have been virtually silent for nearly a year, which doesn't fill the market with confidence and the shareprice falls as a result. They have also failed miserably getting any institutions on board here, for which they only have themselves to blame.

They are the exceptions though, and probably companies where investots are keen to get in. GDR is not ine them currently. 9 times out 10 placing news is not released.

Yes doozy if people think a company will advise investors in advance of a placing, then you could pretty much ignore anything else they say. The only way you ever know a placing is after the event, or if your are the appointed broker.

Jimi- they cannot tell the market in advance a placing is coming. What do you think will happen to the shareprice if companies started annoincing they are placing at x to raise y amount next week? Yes everyone begins to sell crashing the SP, forcing the placees to withdraw. This is why it's price senditive and connot be released. No company will ever say a placing is coming, use some common sense people.

We do know Genedrive desperately need cash in the absence of any sales data, and a placing will be the most likely route.

Why were you expecting a rerate on another delay, Mr India? There were no numbers or poditives in that RNS, hence no rerate.

Pacman- POC is Not CE marked. They aim to CE mark by end if this month, according to last RNS. CE mark can take 4-6 weeks

Jace- in my view the market didn't take notice of the AIHL RNS, as once again we have another delay. Budd has maintained AIHL was due to be launched in the Summer, so the next RNS the market was expecting to see on that was the one for initial launch and orders, not to CE mark the product again.

Jimi- i think they had no intention of announcing the shipments, they only issurd a RNS due to Twitter ramping brigade who discovered the shipping documents. They would have only accounted for the $400k worth of sales, as it was a guranteed sale. Had they put in the full $5m, it would have beem ramped as a $5m sale. Anyway it is about time Budd opened his mouth now, as we are all stabbing in the dark here.

Jimi- that's not how i see it. In my view they have shipped $5m stock, out of which BC have used $400k worth for demonstration purposes. Proceeds on the remaining stock will be given to Genedrive as and when they are sold. To sell $5m of stock for $400k is financial suicide for any company, let alone a company struggling for cash. Makes sense to do it this way, as it means BC don't have $5m tied up in stock. Also $5m worth is a hell of alot purely for demonstrations, which again supports my view.

I agree with you Jace, but trying to remsin conservative. Also don't forget the test isn't cheap, and no FDA approval so will limit sales in US somewhat. Don't expect anything from SA, and he's gone all quiet on India too depite having approval nearly 4.5 months ago!!!!

That only equates to £500k for Genedrive, taking into account Beckman's slice of the pie. Budd has already said we expect £8-£10 a test, Beckman are selling for £15. They aren't going to hand over everything. That said I still expect £1m sales net to Genedrive from Beckman, or else their reputation as multi billion diagnistics firm is questionable.
