LowTechAndy, there is a blast from the past. The guy was a genius. If only we had listened to good old 'Shandy', would have saved me losing money here to be fair. He kept saying it was going to 28p, we were about near to 40p at the time. Then the military coo in Mali. Shandy's frothy musings came to fruition!
28p sounds really rampy now, more like 18p FFS.

Yep Dartron approved. The great thing is that is was bought on the exchange, not off book.

JTS, All the charts are screaming buy! For example, I use Barchart.com for technical analyses, and the Barchart opinion solely based on technical, is 100% buy. Looking at copper, its going up too, only 1 outcome (Strong buy).

Regarding the spread, its not manipulation. Having read up on it. This stock is quite illiquid and what you will find is the market makers will offer a very wide spread to cover themselves first thing, but this should correct after the first hour once the trading becomes established. Its looking like it will base around 2.56 this morning, which is a little low IMO, but its an illiquid stock and not on many Radar. Therefore best not to buy or sell in the first hour. Seems to spike in the afternoon this one.
We are still following the 200 MA hourly I talked about. Everything is on track, but yes currently we are the tortoise not the hare.

Well it looked cheap at £6.70, I guess it will look even cheaper at £5.70.

Look on the daily chart and the 200 day moving average is 611. If the trends stay the same the price and MA should meet near the end of march. (£6.44). Therefore represents good (fair) value at current price, given the current knowns.

I remember when we were about £9 or £10 and some one was telling me that this was guaranteed to meet the moving average, which then was £5 something. I scoffed (which I still think was reasonable), but looks like he could be right.
Would be very healthy to meet the MA. There are a few companies I am wary of investing in due to being so far away from the MA. I wont name them.

I lose more money by executing badly and not cutting losses. That is where to put the effort in. Getting a good entry and exit.
I dont think it matters about the fundamentals, as is proven here. Though my best fundamentals are NCYT, CAML & POLY

crl123, Sorry to read what happened to you in 2016.
I sold some NCYT a month back because id rather make a bit elsewhere than be fully loaded here. Its worked out well. If your that deep here, you could probably afford to move a bit to a riser?

It might not be at play here and I agree it sounds nonsense to be long and short at the same time, but it happens. They charge a loan rate on the shares when they are lent out. This happens all the time in funds, its one way they can make a return from the shares. They are not bothered by a temporary dip, especially if they have caused it.

I have a good understanding of what is going on, but on this board, we were being told we would see an RNS for Black rock at 5% so hardly surprising people who don't get it, are spooked.

The other thing is that I don't know if they have to RNS if they lend the shares out? Black rock have long and short positions on HOC at the same time for example. They could have lent the shares and be charging interest for someone else to go short, at which point they will be accumulating even more while it drops.

The worry here is that they deliberately sell a small amount first to go below 3%. Issue RNS, now they can do whatever and no longer need to report.

Now for a start the price is above the ask, but I can also tell you that I bought at 4.29 and got 6.70, so that is 100% a buy above. Plenty of people still want large chunks of this share. I bet we cant see the real accumulation going on, as a lot will be delayed until Monday.

Your right, and I said earlier, if they had these shares in November and have not sold yet, they must think this is going to rise. I would guess they are under water too.
