We’ve been tucked up like kippers here. maybe he produces another decent update in April … somehow, once again , the market won’t like it or MM will ruin via a monotone Q&A, rather than selling the future of the Co which would bright without MM at the helm.

At 45p I thought sell everything and buy bxm in the 30s now I’m wondering whether to do the same and buy back in the 20s.

Sounds mad but I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s where are next month

Any refund will wind its way to ingenuity somehow, I suspect.

As of right now, I am extremely pessimistic and just don't see how we recover from this FY26 have to be absolutely stellar for the market to sit up and take note, but then it will say, ah, but what about Ingenuity ...sorry down you go lads.

What makes you so sure? It certainly could do with a reputable strategic investor but a sale? Be careful what you wish for, might just end up being sold for £100m or something equally ludicrous.

I think there is also a simpler point at play: investors trust and/r are willing to take a position in APN and they simply are not when it comes down to THG. I remember the Peel hunt podcast when the chap said often the response to THG was, well I don't need to have it in my portfolio - so why go near it with a barge pole and then Peels' target price was 141.

No, we need an independent chair and CEO. I really don't understand what LA has done for the millions he's been paid so far - at least he's bought some shares with some of it, but as far as advancing THG's interests, nothing that I can see.

I'm impressed by the optimism of 1Pencil and, the other few who seem to be holding the line, but I firmly believe that THG has no obviously route to profit in the near-term THAT MM and CO, plan to execute. Right now there should be a shareholders revolt and the CEO and Chair ousted. Each year comes and goes, the company looks better on paper but the share price never moves a dime. On the odd occasion it does, it gets smashed down with determined coordination, which is what happened on the day of last week's update where we should by rights have settled around 55p, not nearly 20% down.

I really do not know what to do, I've kept the faith for so long, and I know there's two fantastic divisions - particularly beauty but they are being choked. What happened to Kelso - MM bought their silence.

Day after day, we're loosing money. Horrible to watch.

LA has done zilch and must go - simply not worth his £500,000 salary.

A further option might be a strategic investment in MP ..Mars? Kelso with a better offer? Others might have other brands in mind.

No one can bid for the group because of ingenuity.

However, as this stands, it's heading to the 30s and it's going to be a long time before we see 50p, in my opinion. Hoped to be proved wrong.

But MM has really let us down ...this guy would F**K up a cup of coffee, in my opinion. Too far under water to sell, personally.

It's also a bit sickening to see ingenuity at 125p a share, with google now a stake holder. Why could this happen whilst it was part of the group? Fair play to those who were able to take those shares HSBC wouldn't allow it.

Only thing I see moving the price is the sale of some non-core beauty assets. What is Bentley Labs worth, is it integral. Could THG simple negotiate a service agreement with the news owners? Has to be worth £300m - could clear debt.

De-merger was supposed to leave THG in a much better position; along with reduced capex and debt leverage> I never believed the dividend claim but thought we might see some profit (non-adjusted, no exceptionals). Instead, we've had some growth - not bad but when you put it all together the whole group grew by around 2% ...nothing to write home about. OK so this year coming might - no should - see double digit growth across both divisions.

Too complex a relationship with Ingenuity.

OK, fair enough, I only saw them reported later on google at around 11am.. I didn't say I knew for certain they were sells but I would have expected 4.2m buys (collectively - almost at once) would have slowed the rapid decent.

I suspect, a large fund is exiting and we won't see a turnaround until that is complete or good news of some sort arise. One thing is for sure in my opinion, MM needs to do a much better conference call and Q%A sessions, as well as being more transparent about the important numbers.

4.2m shares will move the price if the rest of the float is tightly held. I don’t know what the end game is here but I suspect the aim is to keep THG at something of a standstill so ingenuity can grow exponentially.

To me, it looked like two large sells(3.2m and 1m were dumped / reported at 11:00. They seemed to decimate the market.

MM can not win against these forces - he needs to see up or list elsewhere in my opinion.

Well, I notice Ingenuity is 'trading' on JP at 125p a share.

Personally, I think the relationship between THG and THG Ingenuity is too intertwined for PE or others to want to take out THG. Best we might hope for is a strategic buy in - perhaps re Myprotein, or perhaps the sale of part of beauty (Bentley Labs, for example).

Perhaps it was this comment that decimated the price. Was certainly something said or not clarified on the call that tanked this. Until 10am this was holding steady above 5% up.

As someone said yesterday, there seems to be little desire to generate real non-adjusted profit here. Will be the same story over and over again … whey prices, despite the fact that APN seems to manage just fine with elevated WP.

What I’m finding difficult to understand is the near 2 hour rise? If it had popped up and then plummeted once the fine detail had been examined I could understand it better but as things stand the price movement just didn’t make sense to me at least. Very disappointing.

..oh the news has spread wide and far. I was on Holliday over Christmas and New Year and bumped into a guy at the evening buffet ... conversation moved to investments and we chuckled at the THG narrative and how we both thought it was undervalued ...clicked our heels together as 2 privileged chaps in the know and went on our separate ways ... today, I realise I've called this wrong, time and time again.
