No new bidder is going to emerge this late in the day. Unfortunately, most involved here are simply too impatience to wait. If the cash injection wasn't enough to move the price permanently, nothing will. Might be 22p the day before completion who knows.

Never seen anything like it, but I do believe there is little risk in getting the money that's on the table - it's just going to take some months.

Just checked into see the today's bounce. Shame for those, who sold out at circa 23p earlier today. Emotional trading and investing is always extremely risky.

Perhaps we'll see this climb now, slow but stead finish on 26p, by close of play tomorrow? (maybe).

The share price movement is surprising but explainable by reference to the length of time before anyone gets any funds and the various milestones.

Apparently, the SP told us that the vote was no; yet it was yes. In this instance, the SP isn't telling us the deal is off, it's saying not much at all; just stagnation.

Sidara are not walking away from this deal. Period. This looks (to me at least) like a good deal for them.

The issues that remain are the rubber stamps of the court and the various funding milestones.

I am surprised to see the short sellers hanging around as they will be paying interest on the loaned shares. However, I suspect that a lot of money is being made by these guys between 24 and 25p. It will stay this way, until a few days before completion and then suddenly rise to 29.5p (or thereabouts). That's my prediction. Next time I'm offered 25p for my shares I shall take it and buy them back in the inevitable return to 24p.

Let's face it, this stays around this price until a few days until the deal completes. Annoying as that is, it's the obvious truth.

Forced to buy some physical shares due to the expiry of a PUT option. Still a whisker under 26% - combined derivatives and physical shares. Probably not too happy about where they are, given the strike price must have been well into the 300s (never mind their average).

Would love to know what their game is here. Someone said vultures but it's an expensive way to circle your prey - prey that is alive and kicking for the foreseeable future.

Never really understood the involvement of Frasers, here or DEBS. Certainly hasn't done anything for the SP. Investor guru MA is not. The valuations of yesteryear were built largely on sentiment ("the high st is dead etc...) which has now evaporated along with any signs of profits. ASOS isn't going bang in the near future but it is questionable as to whether it can re-invent / grow / become profitable, in this saturated marketplace. Actually surprised we haven't seen much consolidation across the various offerings. Particularly, given the major holders here.

@moniman - successive governments have destroyed productivity in this country, not just the current gov who have been in only a short while. Truth is, the only way to produce growth in the UK seems to be immigration which most people don't want. So, we (and our children) will have to get used to flat-minimal growth.

Let's hope THG can continue on the recent positive trajectory. Not sure why the drop today - doesn't seem to be THG specific.
