.. but true, this bull run may see more upside, in fact a lot more upside. Not just in Lloy but in UK markets. Yes, just like others I'm vigilant, the budget weighing heavy on most PI's mind, but all this noise surrounding tax increases may not be as bad for investors, PI's as some, including myself, believe or expect. No doubt about it the US is a complete basket case and the valuation of stocks is off the scale and it will at some point come to an end and the UK may well look attractive to lots of US investors. Ok, I'm calling the doc now...

Probably the correct decision and i suspect the budget may well have a couple of unpopular flavours that consumers wont like whihc will have some impact on growth, then again the Threives may spur on a rally. Personally i'm hoping for a pullabck, if not not then nothing lost and trade accordingly...

.. industry suffered another crippling hit in October after the rate of job shedding hit its steepest level in just over five years.

The latest Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) from S&P Global showed the sector had tumbled to 44.1 last month, down from 46.2 in September.

This marks the tenth consecutive month the industry has remained below the all-important 50.00 mark, which indicates whether a sector is growing.

Tim Moore, economics director at S&P Global Market Intelligence, said “subdued demand in the wake of heightened political and economic uncertainty” had led to the steepest drop in input buying since May 2020.
