This will just trade 50-55 now I think in the short term.

That's not a bad thing and I believe that it'll break through 55 before Xmas but needs the placing out of the way first IMO.

I am only trading 30% of holding here and have sold it today on the possibility it'll dip back to 52 where I will buy back. Still holding 70% in case I'm wrong.

Rox - this isn't about Market Makers - it's about traders. You seem to be switched on so I'm sure you know the difference.

People on LSE are OBSESSED with crooked MM's and to a very significant extent, it's total BS. Market-makers are highly regulated and have very limited ability to drive corruption. Trust me, I do know what I'm talking about.

Also, AA. is SETS traded so there is very little human involvement.

I think there is just a total lack of interest in BT because it's such a dying brand and such a poorly-run company with extremely uninspiring leadership. Genuinely look at their strategy and it's like something from 10 years ago - embarrassing.

I agree that the SP doesn't match the revenue/assets but look at Tesla - the market has become detached from balance sheets. The Warren Buffets of the world are struggling at the moment because established, household names are out of favour.

If anything, I see a dip here down to 80's if we get a dip on any US instability (which I'm sure we will).

Will I buy in the 80's....? Maybe. But probably not. It's just not an interesting share.

Shorts closing, bid incoming at some point.... it's definitely a gamble but I see downside 15p and upside up to 70p so risk-reward is pretty good. Worth a punt......? I think so.

I'm not invested here and not looking to be as better bets elsewhere, but this isn't going to 50p. Open a short by all means but I'd target 80p as absolute bottom. I'd say pretty likely to see 100+ by end of this week as long as there isn't some kind of coup in the US.... which is defintely possible...

The US markets are so high that I can't imagine any other reason than they have been pumped in a way that may perhaps not be.....let's say normal, IF Trump loses.... they'll tumble so hard.

I too see a big old crash coming but I think that US markets are far more overbought than FTSE which is well off its all-time highs unlike US.

I think too that a lot of the UK shares I own (including AML) are already so low that they don't face too much downside risk.

I would be very worried right now if I had a load of US tech stocks.... but I think pretty safe holding shares like AML. Downside here is probably 40p but upside is much bigger imo.

Don't forget, proper news of a vaccine could come at any time and that will buoy the markets big time I think.

People also need to focus on the DEATH rates, which are still relatively low. All that's really happening right now is a load of young people are continuing to get the virus but now they actually have testing in place. The media are, as usual, pretty culpable in allowing hysteria to build up by focusing on the most sensational/worrying facts.

so it's not often that I'm surprised by sp - too cynical and jaded for that - but I am genuinely surprised by the reaction here. I fully understand the broader market sentiment but I was expecting a rise to 60 today given calmer waters.

my guess is that there will come a day (tomorrow or next week) where it just suddenly takes off and we go past 63. but not sure.....

going to be another bloodbath tomorrow - I am looking for the next bounce and then I think I may exit a big chunk of my equities. Still think we're due a big Big crash post election...

but of all the shares with a chance of doing well in the next week or so.... AML is a good place to be.
