Miagi i'm buying simply on the chance that they will secure funding at a price the market likes.
If they do, it gaps up to 28-30 and I've made 15-20% in x days.
If they don't i.e. the placing price is heavily discounted or the no. shares is too large, then it gaps down and I've lost x%.
I believe they will secure funding based on what I've read and see that this is a solid risk/reward.
Only have £25k here, nothing big, so losses aren't scary. And given the amazing 6 months I've had (and I'm sure you have had too), I have a load of profit that I'm willing to risk, simple as.
Profits from my biggest holdings (TUI, RDSB, TLSA) alone out of a portfolio of 90+ shares mean that I'm comfortable with losses here. That's my rationale.
also i'd argue the chart is irrelevant right now. This isn't a TA day trading setup, it's news-driven.
