Hey Synxs - yeah the last two weeks has been unbelievable hasn't it. Portfolio is just a sea of green.

My pension is looking mighty fine - shame I can't touch it for 20 years!

I built up a very big Shell position down in the 800/low 900's and it's now paying off.

"Transfer of funds from the impatient to the patient" and all that.

As if Shell wasn't going to bounce from 800! SHELL! People are crazy.

Yep all good thanks - TUI as you say 10%, I've got a LOT of AA. which is going nuts, up 12% this week on SOLG, Saga 25%, and had a very tasty sb on Palantir.

In fact, I've decided if AA. (biggest non-pension holding) bid comes in over 50p, I'm giving up work - I've been thinking about it for a couple of years now but this year has tipped me over into having enough capital to live off trading full-time. So, keep your fingers crossed for me on AA.!

Plucky - I am pretty sure the market is now expecting a bid rather than an extension.

I think we will see one on or before 24th so I would hold.

I would expect the bid to be somewhere between 35p (lowball) and 75p. Anyone saying higher is being waaaaay optimistic but I do think 50+ is probable.

I have built a big holding here and am usually very prone to taking profit but I'm going to try to hold out. Think could be a very good opportunity to see 50-100% gains in a very short space of time here which is unusual.

There is downside risk, of course, but show me a share where there isn't where you can bag in the next 5 trading days!

I got this one wrong. Not going to cry about it as have more good runners than I've ever had in my life at the moment but defo got this wrong... If I'd kept my core holding and let it run, I think I'd be sitting on £120k profit on AML.... :(

I'm a trader, not an investor. I have an active watchlist of 250 tickers and a full-time job so....yeah, I don't do that much research. Still do ok though.

jack - it will pull back at some point but to what price depends on where it's at when it pulls back!

I think 75 will be stern resistance as I've said before and can see 65 again in the next 2 weeks. If I was still holding (which I am not apart from a small chunk in pension) then I would probs take half off and aim for re-entry at 70 and then 65.

BUT if this keeps on going to 80/85 then pull back price will be higher.

To be honest, I would be surprised to see 90 here in Dec but I've been around long enough to know that it could just as easily be back in the 50's next month too.

Think this is going to start to get interesting again v. soon.....

This will inevitably dip back to 65ish imo so worth taking some profit. Big rise so far.... no straight lines in the market...

Auditor news coming, Dec sales figures, market cycle back into this stuff....

350p seems easy within 2 months to me.

I mainly took out at 64 so I'm kicking myself here. Got about 15k shares left in my pension so still interested but missed out a bit. Looking like 75 soon IMO.

However, I can't complain as bought a load of RR, TUI and SAGA with the money so.... :) What a weird year 2020 has been and overall a very bad one. But it has offered up literally the best opportunities that I have ever seen.

If you've got money burning a hole in your trousers, I think AA's beginning to look a bit more like a good thing.... Think you may be able to see 30p turn to 50-75p within a week... but who knows. DYOR as always.

Hi guys, sorry for the annoying message but I'd be super grateful if someone could give me the lowdown here very quickly? What are you waiting on, if anything? What's caused the spikes and retraces? What's on the horizon?

I'm tempted purely from technical perspective but be good to get the context if someone has 2 mins.

oh also - I would bet a large chunk of money (which of course I have I suppose) that BOO hits 450 again in the next 3 months.

AA. feels good bet to me too. Although there is downside risk so do your homework.

It depends what you mean by 'short-term' but I'd say AGL, DMTR as smaller shares with big potential pay-offs in next 6 months.

I'd say SOLG is looking good for a bag in the next 6-12 months.

And I'd say given the right news on the vaccine, I like TUI and STOB as relatively safe bets.

This drop tomorrow morning on divi? Assume a little bit but nothing major?

I'm now only holding 50k. lovely rise and pretty sure while it's still objectively cheap, these levels won't hold up.

there'll be a red day tomorrow or Thurs with mass profit taking and this should give me a buy in price of 57/58 I think.

Rox - I filtered Dunnie a week or so ago. Just a toxic guy - I'd suggest just filtering him. Waste of space.

AA. - as you know, I like it and have a pretty big holding there. However, I'd say your downside quote of 20% is a little off - I'd say actual bottom downside is more like 40% but I do agree the upside is 100-150%.

I think it's a good'un but be aware of the downside...
