I think the absolute tops it'll go for now is 40 and the downside is probably 18/20 if there's an extension or AA. turn down the bid. Debt pile is crippling them unfortunately.

I think it'll do well if you hold for 2/3 months. Not going to give you 50%+ but should be a nice little 20/25% hopefully....

Directors recently bought at 151 and got the tip from Wayne Shand who i think is decent so....just hold and see. Give it a month or so.

Obviously if gold price tanks, it's difficult but still looks good from TA perspective. Also suspect gold looks good to go back above $2000....

Synxs - I would say it's mainly profit taking. Big rise here recently.

However, difficult to say given complex goings on in the background...

I wouldn't worry about it. I'd just top up at where you think it's cheap. Take profit where overbought. Rinse and repeat.

Or just build up holding every time it drops if you believe in it long term and don't like trading.

Patience is everything at the moment. Everything still very low...

33 - nice. 114 is a good price I think.

I think it's looking good for 120/130 quickly.

AND it's good to have gold as hedge against wider market sentiment.

Agreed - I bought more at 293 this morning and very happy to do so.

310 by end of week I'd have thought. Maybe a little higher. Then depending on market, think 325 end of next week.

33 BP good too but Shell dropped lower than BP, relatively, so thought it would bounce back a little harder. Which it has - so far.

And shell is just such a mainstay in a lot of older people's funds because of the divi.

BP just as good though really.

Yeah it used to be a really good group on here 5 or 6 years back. I can remember when Nolupus just used to troll and everyone else was super well-informed and the discussion was balanced and very technical for a LSE board.
