The goal posts are the basics, not the share price response to them. The forecast freecash HAS NOT CHANGED. The NPV HAS NOT CHANGED. The reserves to bring into mine plan HAVE NOT CHANGED. The stated g/t grades HAVE NOT CHANGED. The production time scales HAVE NOT CHANGED. The companies intention to engage in M&A activity HAS NOT CHANGED. The only anomaly is the share price reaction, and as every credible pundit, financier, proven investment titan and generally any successful investor will tell you - that's how you make money in this game, find the companies that are undervalued and be patient. If you think something is wrong here then sell up and move on, if you believe that this will eventually reach fair value then get behind it, promote it and assentuate the positives (all broker notes are north of 50p as a minimum - shared freely amongst the positive posters here but I won't share anything that I have private access to with people that talk down my significant investment - there is a case of self fulfilling prophecy here for those spinning negativity). And finally if you have concerns email the company, they respond openly and reasonably swiftly - whining on a public bulletin board that there is a problem here does nobody any favours.

Who's shifted the goal posts? The only thing that has moved here is the date that fair value WILL be reached. The fundamentals remain the same, the management remain the same and the growth potential remains the same. Like a broker note calculates fair value but can not predict when or even if it will happen - hence why investments like HUM carry a risk, but all things considered I fancy my chances which is why I added another 130k this week. When your investment horizons share the attention span of a goldfish you probably will become insecure and conspiratorial. Paegant or any other volume selling will always happen from time to time and is temporary. Churning out cash year on year is reasonably permanent. The goal posts have not moved here, but nobody can predict in which of the 90 minutes we will volley the ball in to the top corner. Balls going in - WHEN not if.

Off iii "Pageant are bascially a one man show. Run by Nick Furlong who made his initial millions via video gaming I think. He then ploughed some dosh into Irish property (at the right time) and has since been investing his millions across the various sectors. He's not minted like some hedge funds etc so tends to have to move money around like the rest of us albeit in greater volumes. I believe he rotated some money out of PVR last year post duster campaign and then popped it into HUM as a holding or go-to safety trade (Gold etc). He's now moving money back to PVR as far as I can see ahead of next years BArryroe campaign... but that's just a hunch. By taking out SR Globals overhang, he helped the share price at the time. It's unclear if he will sell down to zero and my guess is he may leave 1% to 2% in the stock as a hedge and to gain exposure to GOLD. I don't think he's a distressed seller which might explain why the sp bounces off 30p/31p levels as he probably has his minimum price limits."

Added another 32k this morning. Short term volatility on the SP should not be viewed as something wrong with the company. Listen to your head, not your insecurities.

I added another 97.7k this morning. More than happy to take these off the insecure and impatient. Quoted this from Warren B more than once and it never gets tiring. "the stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient"

Notwithstanding there is an RNS due (be here this week IMHO), the last presentation is dated Feb 18, and clearly lays out the mine extension expectations. Based on science, not being "opportunistic". So when you say "no new presentation", what do you expect? One every 6/8 weeks? Is that realistic?

RC, suggest looking at the SP cycle of a typical explorer to producer, there is usually a spike at discovery, so don't expect to wait 3 years. Could be 6 months.

Think you're investing on the wrong sector - that's how miners business model works > explore > discover > produce > repeat. I've invested in the risk reward upside of that model. Might be a bit risky for you if you can't get your head around it. If HUM do develop Dugbe it's because the economics show it is viable, and in the right economic environment it will be worth it - plus advances in technology will reduce the AISC over time so gives another factor, cheaper power options have already significantly reduced the previous forecast costs. Add $1400+ gold to that and it could be very profitable. My point is if HUM invest the cash they will do so an s lot of clever people determining that investment will make money. And I dont see a dividend and investment as mutually exclusive - I'm sure in time HUM will do both.

Your call and it's a fair point. However I disagree it will rangebound for ages. HUM could announce an M&A deal tomorrow, and off the back of the next RNS (any day) there could be sufficient assurance for an ii to decide to build s position. All strong catalysts that none of us can second guess - and if you are a No2 (I'm sure there is a pun there!) then you only buying into companies with similar potential - i.e. Positive economics, new discovery, etc so could end up in the same position - if it was that easy 80% of traders wouldn't lose money - and that's the difference between 1 and 2 investing or trading.

What a load of carp. That's how companies work, they invest to expand. If HUM do spend on Dugbe or another asset it's because they will get a return on the investment that is value accretive. Jeez. Business basics page 1.
