RE: Manipulation31 Mar 2018 01:26
AIM (and the wider market tbh) is as leaky as a sieve. Loads of stocks rise/fall a day or two ahead of an RNS, and we're supposed to believe it was 'in anticipation' or a coincidence. At the end of the day there are are thousands of professionals wrapped around the whole stock market process, and like the rest of society there will be vicars and c**ts. It's naive to think these people will EVER play with a straight bat - even CEOs and their teams are probably more concerned about their salary and bonus than the SP - funny how options and share accounts are always stacked in their favour! You can only hope that you've backed s good horse, one that has the basics (profits and growth) so fundamentally right that manipulation is just a sideshow, because value will eventually cut through it. Warren B has loads of quotes that are apt - short term voting, long term weighing. Buy and hold forever - and my favourite, the market is good at transferring money from the patient to the inpatient. For me the story hasn't changed here. 1. They built s mine 2. They are producing gold and selling it for cash 3. They are going to add more gold 4. They have stated an intent to do M&A - this could come ANY TIME, no warnings, no hints (although the SP might coincidently start to rise the day before the news!) and could add 40%+ in a flash. 5. Dan is rated by the industry (recent name check by Rick Rule) and I trust him 6. The whole junior sector is pretty much undervalued 7. Macro economics is predicting new highs for Gold 8. ngv is right, this is probably contrarian band every dog has its day - ours will come.
