You also have to consider the macro sentiment. Mining is at an all time low. Rick Rule has made the point that expectations (sector wise) are so low that the industry can only exceed them, add the bullish expectation on gold (supported by politics and economics) and we could be heading for a perfect storm - gold rises, sector confidence returns and HUM demonstrates real numbers. I can predict when the stars will align, but I'm here because I do think the probability is very strong within my 1 to 2 year (from here) investment horizon is pretty good.

"The programmes are currently focusing at the exploration end of the mining sector, and as such it is premature to be considering definition of resources and undertaking pre, or feasibility studies. As such, we are well funded to take us through the programme , which if successful, will enable us to take a decision as to whether the Company has sufficient exploration data to justify a further programme that could lead to resource definition. Even then, once a resource is outlined, the engineering studies to outline a mining project will take further time. Each of these steps requires additional capital."

And none of us can second guess what Dan and the rest of the board are up to - if an M&A was to be suddenly announced you'd have your answer - I expect one at some point - they are not going to post the diaries and divulge where they are reviewing deals until the ink is dry - AGG probably forewarned them to get their ducks in a row first. I trust them, and I'm investing here not trading - Buffet advices to hold good stocks forever, and that market apathy, turbulence and value misalignment should be ignored and seen as an opportunity. Some people have become too emotionally attached to this share and are paranoid they are being screwed, remain calm and rational - long term the market is a weighing machine, if you believe in the fundamentals and the future growth potential then you should believe that the scales will tip in our favour. Could be using a tanked supply initially. You'd xpect them to have some sort of reserve supply for continuity/contingency reasons.

It was 18 days between Stage 1 completion and initial results. Stage 2 completion was notified on the 22nd March, so 18 days would be April 9th, so we could get an RNS next week....

HUMRF only traded 2k shares so wonder what caused the step up. Hard to find an intraday chart but what I did find indicated it went up around 13:30 US, or 18:30 UK - RNS Monday morning?
