Anyone here held this stock from way back in 2009/10 or traded it around that time??

Obviously very different circumstances for the market crash back then, but there are huge similarities on the weekly chart. Massive slide down to unprecedented low followed by a big bounce and then a return to near the low before a 1 week blast straight upwards (exactly as this week). But back in Jan '10 it continued on from this high (at a more reasonable rate) without a retrace at all, before peaking 18 months later.......

Be nice to know if anyone actually experienced that event or knew how the company was operating at the time. Experience tells me rises like this usually correct to some degree, but it didn't at all in 2010.

I'm averaged at 115 so feel very safe here, but then that's what I thought on April 14th this year.....lol

Yeah, wouldn't like to call where this goes on the open. Overall a very nice read, but the 2nd lockdown will inevitably hurt the figures on the next update. Good contract wins coming through so does seem like the management are certainly on the ball.

Maybe a retrace after the mammoth push upwards before the next leg up?

Thought the RNS was generally positive and coincidentally aligned with the positive vaccine trial news. Although looks it might of pushed on a bit too far to hold, but we'll see.

I wonder if Sandbar got out of their short position they'd increased leading into the jump? hahahaha

With the 737 Max looking like it's going back into service any day, hopefully the recovery will build nicely from here.

Totally agree with you @jazz_01 - probably misunderstood from the foreign market (as only 27% profits from UK), 1 - 2 years will produce a great return. Unless of course we're all dead by then.....

I'm averaged at 1.15 so confident this is virtually de-risked for me at these levels.

Sandbar Assett Management have continued to decrease their short position - went to 1.21% and now at 1.17.......should slowly start to help the SP

There are not shares, it's just a form of debt financing that's (I think) cheaper than a commercial loan. The share price looks like it's a market-wide drop tbh. Both the £ and the FTSE indexes are all badly down today....and we have marched upwards some way in the last week, so a drop to be expected. Hopefully not too far though!

yeah, just noticed mine close at 35.45 but says 8.82% up on the open (which is just shy of 37)

and Sandbar have started to reduce their short position too (now a 1.40% holding that's short, from 1.54%)

or maybe the US stimulus that's being talked about for the airlines directly? Pelosi was just talking about it earlier today on Bloomberg.....too valuable in the GDP numbers to let them all fail?

Aiming for £3-£3.50 share dealing account and indefinitely in the SIPP (obviously whilst monitoring the business over time)

The metal prices have appreciated and some licenses granted so I get the potential upside to those Feb 50-60p valuations, but what do we think the realistic chances are of the company eventually reaching a £5 or £6 share price down the line, in say 2025/26 as is alluded to in one of those reports? i.e. digging a bigger mine etc

Is it worth continuing to hold a reduced position if/after a deal is struck? I had a similar experience when CMBN was taken over by Caretech - took the option of some cash and new shares and a year later they were hugely up!

Some nice buying yesterday and already this morning, be nice to see this break from the horrible downward channel it's been in since July.........let's hope Sanbar have got their 'short' stance totally wrong!

I know the uncrossing trade is a collection of trades from throughout the day, but I didn't know the other singular trades shown were also from earlier in the day.....thought they were just after-hours trades. You learn something everyday though! Thanks

But you're right Paddy - I hold from 1.05 so feel my position is very safe from risk, but I am getting a little impatient. Originally thought this trade would of been closed out at my target months ago :-(

Also, did I read that Citadel were starting to close their short position? Might help mitigate against too much downside....

I thought the 154 level was sure to go today after the numerous tests....maybe a retrace coming, hopefully not too deep

I've literally just sold out of a few nice positions held from March and have cash sitting on the sidelines......off to do some research on MNZS!

Are they embedded in the airport infrastructure i.e. would it be hard for other providers to swoop in/takeover their market share....? Hmmmm, very interesting indeed

I'm currently in NEX @ 1.05 and not long added 50% to my position (averaging 1.15) - i feel this have unbelievable potential, but it may take a little longer to get to my target (3-3.50) than i'd originally anticipated. Well worth a look though

I must admit, i thought this would of been a nice 6-9 month recovery play on the aviation theme without the risk of choosing one of budget the individual airlines, especially with the defence side of the business as a source of downside protection.....kicking myself for not 'trading' this one now. Still feel it will do well long term though, as the management seem to be doing all the right things, just got to wait for a vaccine or retreat of the virus i suppose....IMO of course. Good luck!
