The ship is definitely turning. As they say, it's at an inflection point - the IT integration, impairment charges, one-off costs etc., plus all the hard work and time spent restructuring everything including the sales team, is now behind them. The next full year results will tell a lot in my opinion. AWS revenue sounds like it won't be significant until FY23 so this may end up being 'icing on the cake' once the rest of the business is steaming ahead. I mean, 500m FCF and a healthy dividend...what's not to like whilst we wait ;-)

Does anybody know of a online resource that will list what ETFs include MCRO/MFGP within their holding?

Someone mentioned Tuesday's rise being almost completely reversed, but if you overly the Nasdaq on MCRO's chart you can see the sector wide correlation of Tech pulling it down (regardless of news coming out of Micro or poxy broker notes). It's exactly the same on the 4th - 10th Jan too.

Be interested to see which ETFs it is held in and how many - probably explain a lot of the odd movements?

JTAN, you've held through the tumultuous times and not sold, now that the share is breaking out to the upside and the pandemic quickly fading, you want to sell? This is likely the completely opposite of what you should do (unless of course you need to get at the money immediately).... You've done all the hard work psychologically, now sit back and watch this start to deliver nice growth again. I mean, the company has just in effect bought SGC - the new business will be a beast!

I sat through a trading psychology event years ago and this was the exact scenario that was demonstrated to us, and where most people failed as traders (by selling now)....this is obviously not financial or trading advice, but think about it before committing to the knee jerk reaction to press the 'sell' (or panic) button ;-)

Yeah, I agree. It is strange that both are moving in the opposite direction to the market.....let's see if some positive news 'miraculously' appears via the proper channels soon

The plan is still on track so why people keep thinking that a return to growth is imminent, baffles me. There is deep value in this share at this price (as the recent disposal proved) and plenty of time to execute on the 'turnaround'. Then there's prospect of a 'buyer' in the interim....

Couldn’t agree more. All of the market that saw it holding too much debt will undoubtedly notice that they are willing to spin off parts of the business in answer to it. Very excited by this move. Coupled with the 3year turnaround (as far as we still now) going to plan, this share could easily return to much healthier levels again

CMC had it 292 initially.....plenty of buy orders were straight in I suppose

I closed a leveraged long position with the intention of monitoring the price tomorrow morning and re-instating it (at increased leverage from the previous position's profits) if the mood seems positive. I've just read that the brokers do actually open a new position for you automatically (on a leveraged position that is) to take up the RI offer, but if the mood isn't great and the SP drifts lower, I'd have to take a loss before the price bases again.....I think I've done the right thing, but we'll see.

Ah, I think Hexam may of just answered my query in their first sentence "(now 286p)"

Therefore, am I correct in thinking the new SP open will be higher if today's close is higher?

Can anyone shed light on the anticipated opening price tomorrow? 280-285p has been mentioned, but is that fixed? If this rallies into the close today, will it open any higher or will the new shares just be further discounted than the stated 35%?

Any clarification would be very helpful.

Surely there's an investment case whilst down at these levels, considering this statement....."Overall summer 2022 bookings are up 54% over pre-pandemic summer 2019." Hope they've ordered more planes!
