The closest news would either be the condom launches in Europe or a med2002 deal with (hopefully) a big pharma.

If Vitaros was able to get some decent deals done, I'm sure med will do much better. The key thing is the speed of onset. Something which you are totally ignoring. As for church and Dwight, if you listened in to their webcasts you will have come to realise that they were under a lot of pressure due to the amount being spent on advertising campaigns. Indeed their sales for their Trojan brand have actually been falling!!! And yet they have not done anything to turn it around. .. instead they have been focussing on their other brands (vitamins, dry shampoo and detergents)...and so clearly there is a shift in corporate strategy on how best to grow profits.

Yes admitted in 2003 but unfortunately that's biotech for you. Takes an age to get products to market. They have also had to learn the hard way on how to deal with the big players... however lessons learnt and hopefully we are there or just about there. The very nature of the products should make for some good headlines. However we need the launches and a med2002 deal first before the PR machine kicks into action. A few headline grabbing news (viagra condom on sale in the U.K.!!) wouldn't go amiss.

The next update could be any day and I mean any day.. The update could be something about a deal on the pain relief portfolio Or it could be an update after meeting the European regulator for med2002 phase 3 trial planning. It could be an update on the med2002 deal or a launch somewhere for csd500... it could also be an update on the 2nd manufacturer approval by the European regulatory body for CSD500... so it could be any one of these updates.. waiting is the hardest bit..

18 month shelf life issues didn't help. We're nearly there...there should be some good news flow from any day now till the end of the year.

Mr Barder has been with the company for a significant amount of time. He turns 60 in July 2019. I think the company will be in a much better place by then and the results of phase 3 trials known....perfect for a company sale, make lots of money for share holders and himself and enjoy retirement

I don't think they'll be over this like a rash tomorrow... They'll go back, discuss, work out their own valuations..perhaps some will even wait a bit further and depending on product launches and a med2002 deal, THEN take a position... makes it easier to justify to your seniors etc... However the good thing is it brings us to their attention...and at the end of the day they are the ones who will move the share price. So good to see this from the company Management. Anything that raises our profile can only be good.

I think what is being stated is that the DRG forecast for prescription sales could be blown out of the water IF the phase 3 trials are a success across the whole spectrum of ED with a good safety profile. GIven that the phase 3 trials are being planned for several strength doses of med2002, it improves the chances of success.... "A bit confused as to the numbers for med2002. Global ED market is worth approx 5 billion dollars. 7.5 percent of ED patients can't take PDe5 inhibitors due to contraindications with other medicines. This prescription market alone is worth approx 375 million dollars. The forecasts done by DRG for the prescription market states sales of 600 million dollars. However on Futura's website it also states a 30 % market share of the prescription market is possible (however this depends on how well med2002 works across all spectrums of ED sufferers). Clearly the prescription market figures do not represent a 30 percent market share. In fact it represents a 12 percent market share. If med2002 is indeed shown in the higher strength dose to be just as good for the severe ED cases AND safe, then it will well def be a first line of therapy and truly mean big numbers. 30 percent market share is the equivalent of 1.5 billion dollars. Plus 500 million for over the counter meaning 2 billion dollar peak sales. Yes well and truly A huge number but first things first... we need excellent phase 3 trials"

Back when the Med2002 results were announced I got shot down on this board when I said patience was needed...that it would be some time before we see the fruits... People are getting impatient however you need to remember Futura Medical cannot disclose commercially sensitive information for partners regarding launch dates. Yes some big news expected this year the biggest one will be med2002 deal. This will have some significant payments attached to it so I'm the mean time relax and carry on. It'll take time but these things do. Negotiations always take time.

Yes they don't. Absolutely correct. Admittedly the research they did was a few years ago, but the main point to post that was to highlight the potential. Just requires patience..

I know some investors are getting a bit irritated with the out of stock. The fact is, other product launches take a far greater importance than the very small market that Blue diamond was targeting. So given the circumstances, I agree with the approach the FUM management are taking. I'd rather see the SKORE brand in India and Church &Dwight building up stock for product launches than the blue diamond in the Netherlands...I also note they received a 2nd order (possibly from the Middle East) and so that too needs to be satisfied (hopefully for launch in other Middle East territories)

I expect within the next month or two. I suspect they are building the stocks (using the Indian manufacturer) for the launch and hence the stock running out of blue diamond in the Netherlands.

Why can't the Indian manufacturer (approved by the European authorities) manufacture for the European launch?

I know FUM applied for a Patent extension for the MED2002 gel which could extend it to 2038. Does anyone know how long this process takes?

I have been a share holder since 2010 and this has really tested my patience since then, however I really feel the company has turned the corner. It actually has agreements in place and is poised to significantly increase CSD500 sales this year with hopefully more launches. I understand they can't say much at this stage but I'm sure they are working on these launches. I also feel the business has been de-risked with the successful MED2002 trials and hopefully an agreement this year with a potential partner. I think by next year we will be in a significantly better place especially if the higher concentration of MED2002 is a success for the moderate to severe ED sufferers... I also enjoy the posts of some of the folk at iii, but can't seem to post there for some reason. I enjoy the discussions of a Tonydeadeye, oilovlam and pharma..good luck to all of us!!
