They should start exiting around or before the trading update, as they won't want to be on the shortside, if the financial are promising. Which they should be.

Understood but I really don't get the sense you have followed Tullow for very long, Kenya and the other asset they recently sold were the prized possessions. People have a tendency to forget, they're a good producer and will increase production in a matter of a few years now. This isn't a get rich quick share, let me know what is.

That's the big question, clearly nothing into the share at present. I think if you base it on what was in H1 and roughly add another approx 150m, which is a guestimate. This is all positive though since 75% is only hedged and we'll have an increase in production from new wells. Its only a trading statement/Forecast in Nov. I think Kenya will be the bumper ride.

Even plausible, its not what's going to lift this share price. The forecasted cash receipts in Nov should help things. I suspect, Kenya will boost things also.

i wouldn't get hung up on this, debt paid down, Kenya finance, Share buy back, then maybe dividends, Years away.

Without the hedging strategy Tullow would have been in major difficulty last year and years ago. You seem to neglect any sort of research, as to why companies hedge.

Value investing isn't short term!

The people who have invested in this share then and over the past year is 'Value Investing', AKA Warren Buffett style, if we were to apply a get rich quick scheme then sell up and leave. If we all knew when this share would move, then You Wouldn't be on this site, and wouldn't need to invest your money. Sit tight load up and when this share moves, people will be moaning, as they seem to do here about not getting in early enough.

The new well additions will increase production over time.

The conference call is just an information point on where things are at and possibly, it was requested. The main objective for TLW is Sales receipts and the FID on Kenya, all this is will manage Debt, Fund Kenya, hence increase value of the company, Don't get hung up on a update call.

I would suspect Tullow were offered but declined, sue to lack of funds. There would have been clauses in place to allow partners make an offer.

Don't believe everything you read, these guys get paid for the pump and dump articles. Believe in the Company itself, not the noise around it, like rating agencies. They get paid also.

What a strange comment, if you feel that way about the Nymex futures, why do you speculate? i think a few would disagree with this.
