It’s good you can laugh ???? my average is 68p. I have now accepted my money is gone and it’s a lesson learnt. I aren’t taking my £150 or whatever my holdings worth now it’s neither here nor there in the grand scheme of things. My only frustration is Mooky and his poor leadership and poor communication to shareholders by Cineworld.
I also was a newbie when I invested here during the pandemic. We stand on the brink of wipe out it seems which is a harsh lesson learnt. One of the reasons I invested was on the back of the reputation Mooky has within this industry however he has clearly made a real mess of it all at the expense of many PIs. His communication has been zero and far from acceptable. As a point I wonder how much negative impact the decision to close Cineworld cinemas has had when others remained open. Mooky received a lot of praise from LTHs on here for that decision to reduce cash burn however had it been a casebook of customers went to a rival cinema chain during that time to never return. The Box Office figures have been healthy enough of late but Cineworld clearly can’t be getting it’s share of footfall.
What a mess this company is clearly in. Expecting bleak news anytime to be honest.
Come on PrettyWild let’s be friends it’s Christmas ??. How can you seriously abuse Funinvestor he’s realistic and everything that LPD isn’t which is deluded. Listen I’m still in this share and will continue to be but I’d prefer posters that are honest and look at the big picture negative and positive. I have even posted before to LPD to say I admire his positivity but sorry he’s deluded. In respect of the court case I said to him nobody knows what the outcome will be and no way it would have gone as far as it did if it was a given which is basically what he was saying it was.
Surely nobody listens to LPD now he has zero credibility after saying the court outcome was a given in our favour. Look how that went......
Yeah this is likely to hit 20p come the new year IMO then it’s a toss of a coin as an investor as to whether this company can ride another couple of months being shut. Sadly as a LTH I’m resigned to the fact this will take a long long time to recover if ever.
Not if cinemas are forced to close in less than a week LPD. What are your thoughts on the outcome of the court case?
LPD I’m amazed your still posting on here I’d be so embarrassed if I were you after your insistence that the outcome of the court case was a given in Cineworlds favour.
Never hear a peep out of Mooky do we like literally never. LPD you anything to say on this outcome?
I don’t see how this company can recover now in fact it can’t can it......
What a disaster this surely puts this company on the brink now. LPD should go hide under a rock his insistence that the outcome of this court case was a given on Cineworlds favour was always laughable because he didn’t have a clue. Nor did I as if I did I’d have run for the hills but I was realistic that no way could anybody have known if it was a given it would never have got as far as it did.
This is becoming bleak now I fear some really bad news is on the horizon. It ain’t dropping 30% in just over a week to allow short positions to close.
No doubt this nosedive is worrying and is there more too it that clearly we are yet to know. This has dropped over 25% since the high of 74p just 7 trading days ago.
What prove we gonna be at when Spider-Man hits the screens 40p? I admire you positivity LPD.
What an awful week. The false hope at the start then to where we are now a 20% drop from the highs of Monday.
At Basilius I call it frustration I have been in this share for over 18 months. Some of the frustration is with myself for not cashing in during the highs of March.
At Basilius why is it negative ? As another poster said a really positive trading update and a pull back is to be expected but we got to 74p yesterday so over 10% retrace at current price. This share just seems totally stuck and predictable. Big spike on Bond release and box office figures but then back down to where it was. We hit £1.24 when closed it’s just bizarre really. I have no doubt the court case is a big reason and we need a good outcome from that.
No surprise to see it open lower and going lower. This really is the share that just keeps on giving isn’t it.
When is the outcome of the court case actually expected?
Clearly it isn’t that cut and dry else it wouldn’t got to the last stage of a judge making a decision. It’s key for LTHs that it’s a good outcome though.
