Sadly not the 60p resistance now breached surely this can’t go too much lower. If it does I’m sorry it can’t just be market manipulation.
jg68 I hope this turns around for you as I do all long term holders.
I’m at 78 and had the opportunity to sell at £1.22 3 months ago. How I wish I could turn back time as I won’t lie I’m worried right now that there is significant news around the corner that will explain this drop which is likely to get a lot worse.
I worry now that there may be something more significant that will come to fruition soon to explain this.
Make that 4.5%
Looks like the opening price today
Down nearly 8% more like
60p more like
Problem is we could be mid 60s before a tick up happens if indeed it does ??
I echo that from what I can gather the numbers at Cineworld Leeds don’t look as good as FF9.
The frustration with this stock now becomes worrying for me I thought Black Widow would tick it up a little but the total opposite has happened. I now start questioning what will have a positive impact any time soon. I was always happy to remain patient with this stock but it’s now looking like a long long term hold and that will only be a success if there is a big increase in numbers returning to the cinema.
You do worry that some bad news could be around the corner.
Totally agree I think the silence has been a disgrace
Low can this go???? I never thought we would see the 70s again in a million years but this could be in the 60s next week just from the downward momentum and lack of volume. Everything that people thought could turn the trend hasn’t done By the time the next step of the road map happens if it does the SP could be in the mid 60s nearly 100% down from where we were a matter of weeks ago when closed.
It is heavy in debt and with capacity restrictions and a potential lack of confidence for people to return even if restrictions are lifted and capacity increased there is a real potential the debt will rise. I don’t think the footfall is anywhere near good enough at the moment I kept tabs on my local cinema yesterday for FF9 and will try to do so again today whilst it will not be entirely accurate it will be somewhere near. Attendance was around 17.5% yesterday for the first day of the biggest film of the year, that’s way short of where it needs to be. I’m a LTH but it’s all very worrying at the moment IMO.
hsn123 are the box office numbers positive? Where you seen that?
Looking like a poor finish to another poor week for CINE ??
I asked the question to fellow long term holders last week and nobody replied. The numbers at my nearest Cineworld in Leeds haven’t been good at all and just wondered what others local cinemas to people seemed to be doing. Could the share price simply be dropping in line with the fact not enough people are going to our cinemas? I want to remain positive but I am now struggling remain upbeat.
Lol really must have missed that well clearly I did ha
When was our last green day seems to have been a couple of weeks?
