Rainbow Rare Earths Phalaborwa project shaping up to be one of the lowest cost producers globally. Watch the video here.
Robin, do you mean TUI or IAG.
Am also wondering about a retrace for IAG. But then surely most of upwards movement is accounted for in improving fuel costs, sales, China opening and M&A talks, so does it necessarily need to pull back? Will there be siginificant profit taking so soon? I doubt it.
Wow finished at 147 last knockings. Back to profit finally, woo! Original target was about £2 but now tempted to stay in for a bit longer and try towards £2.50- £3. Maybe another year. As long as the debt comes down over the next year or so, I can see this gaining steadily.
Why 'childish thinking'? That's another twist of logic worthy of russell brand. There is no nuance when someone is being attacked, unprovoked. The person attacking is wrong. It doesnt matter if the victim was wearing a short skirt or flirting with the neigbour - the person doing the violence is in the wrong. If the police make a living from arresting violent offenders - it doesnt mean they are to blame for the violence. No, the guy beating people up is the villain. If the police come to my house and beat me up, unprovoked, then they are the villains. Even a childish mind like mine can work it out.
I dont understand where this narrative comes from that helping someone defend themselves from attack is causing the perpetrator of the attack to continue attacking. Its bizarre twisted logic and completely false.
If you see someone getting attacked in the street you dont tell the police to stop interrupting them and let them attack - because it will be over quicker if you just let them get it over with. Utterly bizarre logic.
Before defaulting to the standard 'what about' fallback argument, YES, I went out on the street and protested against Iraq and Afghanistan wars. I am also old enough to have seen outcomes of unjust wars.
Very sluggish start for AA. Was even down half a percent at opening but now shooting up also to +1.5 percent. Generally AA seems to have a weird correlation with IAG so hopefully continues upwards.
Stick to the SP - not your own narrative. Not engaging in your easily refuted political narratives unless its actually related to sp. Obvs the comparison of them both being flawed leaders went over your head so lets call it quits. Onwards and upwards for the SP.
What does IAG SP have to do with zelènsky? Their unwillingness to give up their country to foreign invaders is inconvenient? Why would you concentrate on him only?
Very Bizarre viewpoint. Its a bit like saying Churchill caused a lot of inconvenience in the 1940s rather than just allowing an otherwise peaceful transition to the new leadership from the east. Could have saved everyone a lot of bother if he hadn't been stirring up trouble and colluding with foreign governments to keep his Ill gotten gains - that churchill.
I travelled to Tenerife over Christmas from 20th Dec (apparently along with a large contingent of unruly Travellers who got escorted off the flight by the Guardia Civil, but that's another story).
Stansted was completely packed - difficult to walk through to find our terminal - but no long queues. Then coming back on the 1st it was so busy again it was difficult just to walk through the hoards of people , but again no long waits for anything. Whilst Stansted isnt as relevant for BA/ IAG - it reassures me of one thing - the appetite for air travel is still very strong. Flights continue to be fully booked.
Sorry oil, need to block you. Seen these all caps lock reactive titles before and it just so so boring. I find it highly unlikely that you are genuinely outraged, shocked and disappointed every two minutes- so much so that you need to post an all cap lock title thread bemoaning the SP. It's far more likely you are a bot/sock puppet.
Just a little ray of sunshine today aren't you? What I can see is very cautious investors who stay away because they cant see short term upside - mainly due to a ginormous known debt pile. What I can also see is evidence that the debt is being paid. So you have stock 'artficially' lowered by a pandemic and then a very very predictable upside driver in the regular debt repayments. Every result that is good and any evidence of debt repayments will drive this higher. So long as they keep reporting repayments I'm going to stay in.
Yep I hear you Bobbins. I badly wanted to average down again at ~96 but unfortunately zero funds and a new baby to look out for. My average is about 142 so I'm getting closer to blue. My target was always 180-200 but I'm now just considering keeping this in longer (+2 years) to see how the company deals with recession against the backdrop of an ever improving travel environment. Whether the 'Uks longest recession' is yet another over hyped media manipulation. If things go the othe way and the markets improve I could be looking at a very tidy profit in a few years.
Ford I was on the street protesting against the Iraq and Afghanistan wars so dont try to lecture me as some pro US mainstream idiot. Also 'read a book' to find out how we go to this position? Would that be Aleksandr Dugin's foundations of geopolitics.?Yes I have read it and yes you are quite right, it is the reason we are in this position. If we lived by Dugins beliefs we would probably still be burning witches and persecuting gay people.
Ford I am not saying anything about US. All I can hear from you is whataboutism. You cant convince me that Putin is right for attacking Ukraine and murdering people. It is true that the west have engaged in barbaric acts of war - everyone agrees that is bad and needed to stop. But that doesnt then mean it is right for Russia to carry on with it. There is nothing right about this war and there is only one person perpetuating violence right now.
Ford I dont understand you. You are saying that we should just let a bully take land away from another country because it is financially inconvenient to us? How is it bidens fault that Putin wants to wage wars to build an empire? Your logic is so warped as to be nonsensical. It's like someone repeatedly punching you and when you try to block them, they get angry because you are stretching out the beating.
Omg, this forum is so buggy on my phone- didnt finish the message.
Was gonna say - I think you are right , this is now a long term holding. I think we we see a slow and steady improvement to the business over the year as they fix their staffing and capacity issues. Whilst it's not the quick fix I was hoping for , it does give me a great opportunity to earn more and put into the market over the next few months while it languished between 110-130. I think it could be a year to recover to 200 unfortunately. But still a good earner if you put in now, which will be.
