Its a winning formula, a retailer selling at the higher end price wise due to its superior long established product and the most modern cost efficient distribution amongst the grocers . When m&s do the online promotions it will put tthe squeeze on the other retailers margins . I cannot see the other retailers with the exception of waitrose who in my opinion have the most to lose attempting to compete with m&s . I hope to see a re rating of the shares quite quickly.

Noticed quite a bit of markys advertising at the moment but no mention that you can get it delivered, which is understandable going by the pre launch noise from marks that ocado are snowed under at present post covid and they will not be up to full speed as a partnership for some time . Now this is what I don't understand I thought the British side with ocado was a 50/50 joint venture so the fact that marks are full blown adverts and are not mentioning there new ocado tie up must mean they are getting some sort of financial kickback off ocado for playing second fiddle at present, or alternatively they are reaping a handsome dividend from the venture and can wait until the delivery side is fully integrated.

I think your right Alex , one of the sticking points is fishing . Can easily see a situation where the uk grants the eu a 50 year licence to fish . We can then claim their still our waters but they are getting something In return , what ever gets signed at least one side of the remain/leave party will say we've sold out given in etc.. oh and as sure as tesla is a ponzi car company ready to crash farage will be opposing whatever is agreed.

I listen to Bloomberg radio all day , and they do talk some tripe on there but one recurring theme is that Europe is cheap , now the footsie has underperformed Europe so potentially we're cheap .Now the elephant in the room is a Brexit trade deal if we can get out before Christmas with a deal even a bad one I think the money will flow in to the UK stocks .No one likes uncertainty and that is what I feel is holding the market back

Cards on the table I bought in last month at 64p so yes I talk through my wallet ,but saying that I can only see positives going forward for itv . Seeing today the price go up 10% at one stage was very similar to what iag did a couple of months back , then having seen my investment go down 15+% before giving me a 10% + profit a couple of weeks later I was put out when it continued to climb substantially before the inevitable slide when the government made a complete hash of the air bridges .Back to itv i dont see any catastrophes going forward that have not already been hammered in to the price and a price correction could well be on the cards as we exit the pandemic
