On the "customer acquisition spend" point this is what i've been crucified for the last few weeks but in theory this is the "flat market dynamic" ie lots of people can do this now so we have to spend a bit extra to keep or win new customers. But the way management have answered this i am happy!

i just think any one who saw that will feel relieved when management say it

These results are outstanding and that this isn't £4 or higher is a mystery

My only concern point would be the US which grew 50% but that's a fall in growth rate from 80% last quarter so if we won those customers why didn't they shop again over Christmas? I'm sure there is an answer and it doesn't concern me. i will just be listening to see if the analysts ask

But this should be valued higher than Asos!

Modelling 35% qtr on qtr is c.120% growth a year so I think it's an error in the model @london

@people, don't forget fella that the Asos margin quoted above is the fake GM% which doesn't include distribution costs. Boohoo's does. Add those in for Asos and you see how powerful Boo's GM% is

I think tomorrow will be an awesome set of results and this share is undervalued. I think any news on the US distribution center will be fantastic (John Lytelle mentioned at the Sep-20 analyst meeting they would decide on that at the "end of the year"). Topshop will also be great for the equity story

I thought the article below on HUT was worth a read and shows where boo's value could really get to if they stick to the "tech angle" and stay away from being a wholesaler/ retailer. Again this is just my view and that of the professional stock analysts

Liberum have used a sales to EV method which is always very punchy but shows the positioning as a tech stock/ scalable platform/ use of data/ short lead times/ ability to grow occurrence and basket will make your shares worth more. I also think the moonpig vs Dr.Martin was interesting (is moonpig really a tech business? No but that's the equity story they are trying to create - it gives them a P/e twice that of Dr.M so great if they pull it off)

So any way thought I'd share as shows a HUGE upside as this business buys more brands and bolts them into the scalable platform. We all could do very well

Keep an eye on the competition too. Any business worth it's salt is always doing so

@webba it’s my view (which I understand isn’t shared so not starting a row) that boo should be the cheapest trend option on the market (one of my fundamentals). Fully agree there is design and brand factors but I’m trying to see how much of the business can just be “ripped off”

This doesn’t worry me or impact Thursday. It’s just my view of where the boo brand should be. I think PLT is real heavyweight brand but I’ve shared before that I don’t feel boo is as cool but I don’t shop at either and this is just one dress it hardly represents either business in full

In my view it’s the same as having shares in Tesco or Sainsbury’s. Both supermarkets but my local Sainsbury’s in Warrington is always messy and half stacked shelves. I know that might seem daft but it would stop me buying the shares. Years back I had Tesco shares as I felt people were price conscious but then Aldi showed up so I sold

But not trying to ramp or deramp here it’s just a wonder but you all seem to see what I see that the boo dress does look better

My view, consumers brush over these issues (we grew 40% in U.K. and 80% USA all during BLM protests) and that’s a huge shame as I do like to believe the world is more ethically minded. Although fast fashion is seen no 2 in most polluting industries (really interesting IG post from Shein at new year where they got roasted)

I think regulation will be the key driver to pushing up standards in other countries so hopefully the Tories see this through

I think hut could actually go higher at it isn’t premium listed which will exclude a lot of funds. When his golden bullet share runs out I think it will move to premium and money will boost the stock further

@quaker - in my view it was profit taking (as we'd recently come off the back of the slave labour allegation) and also the caution in management's outlook (medium term - they did update short term guidance)

Lockdowns in the UK are really annoying but i think if management are upbeat on the US then investors will look past the UK given vaccine rollout has started
