We all know there are ways to predict trends in share prices, but anybody but an idiot knows that most are just based on self prophecy. Hi Tom, Good luck with your new investments. I must say, you were the last person I expected to bail out of vod completely. I won't be selling because I think vod is way under priced & calling the bottom is not for me, but must confess I am getting very nervous. Have a great (merry) new year (plenty of the single malt). I wonder If today is a 1st, with the ftse 100 falling, after a 1000 points rise last night on the dow.

I'm not quite sure why you are so positive about the vod sp later today, but I hope your right. As for the sp spike on the nasdaq after hrs, this is quite common & is normally followed by an immediate fall back, so I think it's best to totally ignore after hrs on the nasdaq.

Hi Tom, I am trying to work when you went from bull to bear on vod, but found your post where you said you need 1.97 to break even, & I also thought you said that you only lose when you sell ,so you would hold out, but I could be wrong on that last quote. Still, I can't argue with 1.71 sell, but I still think vod will go higher than that, perhaps 1.97.? Good luck anyway, we all need it.
