Sthlondonuk. I think Hope So meant a preferential allocation or reduced offer price for vod share holders. I hope so as well , as I have made a lot of money on new issues/ floats in the past. Mostly of course with privatisations, but any preferential treatment is always good.

Hi Longish. Nick got 99% support to be re elected as the boss. Why would I, or any armchair pundit disagree? Perhaps because they haven't got a clue. Ok so Nick may be a greedy boss, but Vod is not a charity, Nick is doing ok now but If the vod sp falls on monday, is nick suddenly no good. My point here is that surely this forum should be from posters who just want to chat about the vod sp & prospects, Not from just self proclaim'd experts, or self confessed moaners, just a balanced view & perhaps (just me perhaps) a positive, wishful thinking attitude. But of course neg views are always welcome.

So big rise today, & all of a sudden Nick is a saint (St Nicholas) , I of all, have reason to put Nick down for cutting the divi, because I needed the cash & have had to borrow money to make up the shortfall.
