Mikey, I don't know where you get your info from, but vod on the nasdaq & vod on lse, about the same, & anyway any deference is down to exchange rate movements. Surely you get that by now?

Well today obviously bad, but still a good week, up 3.46p from Monday morning, & we didn't go back down to the 1.50's so I'll settle for that.

thomas, Why do say it dont make sense. The vod sp sometimes goes up when the ftse goes down, & vise versa, you should know that by now, surely? The ftse is made up of 100 company's, some go up, some down, if the ftse goes up it just means more go up than down. Simple.

Miikey, read your post about the change in exchange rate & you have the answer. Todays rise on the nas is down the fall of the $ to £, & yesterdays rise on the nas, was purely a reflection on the rise of vod on the ftse. Come on Mikey, be positive, you can do it.

buzzby, Why do you say voda have become a low divi stock, the yield is still 5% or more at sp of 1.60. At £2 sp the yield is still 4% or more at current exchange rates. Of course euro to £ exchange rates may change this, & also vod may raise the divi if the sp rose. What do you call a low divi yield?

Mikey, Well it could hit 1.60, but if it does I think it will come back up again. We may just bounce around the 1.60 for a while. We all know vod acts like the pepsi big one roller coaster at times & the nasdaq open can be volatile, but unless you are a short/ long trader & can take advantage of it, just don't worry about it, that's what stock markets do, frustrating at times, but quite normal. Good luck anyway. We are both on the same side. I hope your share options are looking a bit better now.
