A good week so far . I think 1.60 plus, very likely, in the near future.

Much as I would love to agree with there latest £2.50 upgrade, I think they are the house broker for vod, & in cahoots? Still, a good sign, I hope.

Longish your answer to newbie is probably correct, but as newbie asked, why are deals still going through at 5.30 pm.. Or is that just false info (not unusual)?

Newbie. I think 4.30 close, is a bit like last orders at the bar. For most you can't deal after 4.30, but if millions £ of deals go through at 4.29 there has to be an after market, to just sort it out. even in the instant electronic age, nothing is instant. Probably just as well? Imagine a 100 million pound sell at 4.29.50. pm. It is annoying though.

Vod is still doing better than the F.T.S.E. & I just hope it will continue to do so , if or when the F.T.S.E recovers. But of course, last 2 days, very bad, overall. Not sure what tweeting twit Trump has to with it though.

oiloflam. Sorry but I don't get your comments, vod seems to be directionless, & you don't understand what they are trying to do. With the sp up 15% plus in the last week, & a very positive outlook for future profits, so hardly directionless, with the help of liberty, I think what vod is trying to do, is to make more profits, & further increase the share price. Of course they may not do that, but it is pretty clear to me, what they are trying to do. So what is your point??

Gerry , thanks for your correction, but I did think £2.22 was a bargain at the time, but that is history, & who knows, we might get back there. What was that oink oink noise flying past my window?

Gerry. I had a few grand spare & after looking at some high prices I have paid for vod in past, I wanted to get some at a much lower price. I just think vod is a very good medium to long term investment. I don't use graphs, so my timing may be poor (I paid 150.46), so not good so far. My mortgage is paid off, although I have other debts, but well under control, & some at very low %. My attitude to debt is, it's ok as long as it's affordable, & at a low % rate. I think the sp will go back to over £2, but of course I am a born optimist, as you all know. Did you buy any at the bargain price of around £2.22 a while back, I didn't, but wish I had.
