Very unlikely we will get cash,as vod need all the cash they can get from the sale, to pay down deb't. I think however, vod shareholders may get a better allocation, at a discount price, in the share issue.

Newbie, No disrespect, but aren't you being a bit daft expecting Nick Read to reply to your E mail. There are thousands of investors & I am sure he has better things to do than reply to them all. Nick Read can't & doesn't control the share price, that is the stock market. I would suggest Nick is doing all he can to improve vodafone profits ,in a very difficult market.

dadean, According to my available info, vod have made a profit in 8 out of the last 11 years, so I don't know where you get they make stonking great losses each year? Please explain?

Mikey, why do you get so cheesed off? The vod sp was up over 4p yesterday,& after being down in the morning today,recovered to only being down .32p. You really do have a problem. Calm down, & drink some lukin coffee. Are you always this angry?
