Fleccy. If vod buy back as many shares as possible pre ex divi they will have to pay more them. So probably no advantage either way.

Just as well vod have paused the buy backs with the sp falling. Vod shareholders only gain if the sp rises after the buy backs. Let's hope the sp will rise now the divi is out of the way & the buy backs increase. 80p looking a bit iffy now, but who knows? Good luck all vod shareholders.

If you have a government controlled, properly regulated crypto currency, then it might work as a replacement for FIAT currency, but bitcoin is totally unregulated. Mole-man. Do you seriously not realise how crooked bit coin is? Most of it is controlled by criminals & drug dealers. FIAT currency is far from perfect, but much better & safer than bitcoin that was said to be invented by a Japanese con man, who may not even exist. If you want to feed drug dealers & criminals then invest in bit coin. Do you have any idea how much electricity was used to run bit coin mining computers, mainly in stopping them from overheating, great for the ozone layer. Bitcoin has a carbon footprint bigger than a yettie. sorry if I spelt that wrong.

usersteve. i think the share price will go above 80p soon= to about 82p with divi, so a big buy from me. vod shares are worth £1 plus in my opinion. i think the yield is below 7% though! i think the divi should stay the same, as vod are investing in the 3 merger. fill your boots mate? no caveat, just sue me if i am wrong, get a life you caveat, i.m.h.o.'s l.o.b. Rob yes ex divi is Thursday, but not this Thursday. 5th June, Next week, the 12th of June. Come on Rob, get with it mate. As for A.D.R. holders! I don't know & don't care, I invest on the U.K market. Why would a U.K. investor invest in vod U.S.A. ADR'S? Unless you are crazy? O.k. no stamp duty, but exchange rate, will be more than the stamp duty. I don't pretend to be an expert on this, but come on. Buying U.K.shares on the nasdaq from a U.K. account is not a good move. Just common sense.
