Mulder. I don't like short sellers of vod any more than you do, but they are not scum, or criminals. If I had known that the sp would fall to what it is today, I would have shorted it, & I am not,(contrary to rumour) scum, or a criminal, just not stupid. But of course I didn't know. Short selling is legal, so if you don't like it, you should not investing on the stock market. Sorry mate.

Hello Robina. Surely the question is why would it continue to fall? I think you answered your own question though, with "it's temping to buy around now" suggesting it will go up, not down? You know very well Robina, if you don't buy now, & the sp goes up, you will be on here saying how unlucky you are. I guess it's 50/50 really, although I think the sp will rise. Good luck.
