It doesn't bother Mikey at all, because he clearly takes great pleasure in being very boring & very annoying. Very strange, but it takes all types I guess? But of course in the real face to face world he would be subject to massive ridicule, but it seems that on a chat forum, he seems to have more confidence, perhaps because nobody knows who he really is.

Great day for the vod sp today with the news. Shame about the usual negative garbage from you know who though, but I guess we have got used to it by now. I really do think vod is way undervalued, but as long the sp stays low, it may encourage more stake building, & of course as fleccy often points out, it makes the M.C.B. share buybacks cheaper. I think the fact there is big interest in buying the towers, just re enforces the need to keep them, as they are obviously very valuable. Vod has big debt's & the potential buyers know it, so like an auction of bankrupt stock, the value of the items are worth far more. Not that I am suggesting vod will go bankrupt of course! (In Vod we trust) Like the U.S. dollar!

C.S.Boy. But? Porsche may have been shorting vod? & made a lot of money? Who knows?? O.k. chances are he is a complete idiot? But who knows? If he has been shorting, then good on him. I wish I had . vodger. If the offer is 31p per share, but the share of vantage is worth more,(for example) 41p per share, then the vod sp should fall by 10p. Do you know what it is worth? Don't just sell for the sake of it, unless you know the true worth. I don't know, do you??? But I like your non doom & gloom suggestion! Talking of doom & gloom, good luck to Mikey. Hello rob. I have to confess I am bit confused. Is he talking about me with his strange post, or Nick Read? Or does he think we are the same person. Rob. The sp would need to go to about £6 for me to do that. Far better if house prices were more realistic, about 1/3 what they are now. Overpriced housing has been a disaster for most young people. Only good for property speculators. Buying a house should not be an investment, just somewhere to live.

meh x 3. Google, vod M.C.B. programme, & on the ADVFN site it states it will finish no later than 15/11/22. I suspect however vod will commence another M.C.B. prog' so the buy back will probably start up all over again. It might seem crazy, but as I have before it depends if vod can make more profit on the money it owes that the interest it pays on it. Mole would probably say it cant. Me, I don't know. I am not sure what fleccy thinks? & Mikey of course would just say sack Nick Read, but make sure you take a screen shot 1st!

Thanks mole & robleo. Things are looking very dodgy. I think for me to sell now though would be foolish, so I guess I will do an impression of fleccy & hope the divi's just keep rolling in. The divi return on vod at the moment is not far short of some annuities, & with annuities of course you lose all your capital. Wish me luck, because I sure need it? Cheers.

Hello mole. At the end of the day it is all down to deb't & can vod afford it. If vod pays more % interest on its debt, than it can make on it's capital, then it has a problem, but vice versa it can be good. Only time can tell, but if the latter is true, then vod could be a very good investment. I don't know what average % vod pays on it's debt, so unless you know, & can compare it to what return it gets,then you know nothing more than I do. What average % interest do you think vod pays on its bonds? Unless you can answer that, how can you make a judgement, as you, often do?

Perhaps it is being shorted by The Great White Goldfish?
