you only have to look at the oilers on AIM and see the SP on all of them has halfed at least
even the stronger Oilers on the FTSE have seen huge falls - BP is almost 50% of what it was pre-crash

somebody has just bought 100k for under 3k but price still dropped on minimal volume
at $30 Brent - AJE won't make any money unfortunately - this will be the case for most oil stocks hence the drop in sector
i kind of think that anyone invested really aint going to be selling this - also until oil recovers minimal will be buying - until oil recovers - there is a real threat of this going under

I'm just glad i was forced to sell a lot of what i had to appease Agents / Taylor Wimpey
i was kind of ****ed off cause i had provided a statement of account and they insisted it to be in Bank
Its a nightmare and its getting a bit farcical that a Virus (similar to Flu - whether it is slightly worse or not) has basically caused a bigger crash than 2008 when Major Banks were closing / going bust / needing bailouts

This doesnt really effect day to day life
But Pensions and savings are getting wiped these last couple of weeks
Im kind of glad that i had to take £100k out on 16th Feb for a House Purchase as Deposit as proof of funds - new build and not completing until July - but they wanted evidence in Bank - its hurting the rest of my savings - which isn't as much as i took out left but im still seeing a decent amount disappear - and i put some back in after when FTSE was 6500 thinking i was clever
likely will have to sell all shares for House Purchase but i'm kind of thankful that circumstances warranted i sold in February as it could of cost an extra £30k
sure some are in worse positions this last few weeks and most pensions will be well under forecast (more than they were if that was possible)
Life goes on and im sure it will all recover but when is the big question

Oil is worth less - the asset is worth less on this basis

Its difficult to see how any oil company can make good profits at this oil price
We don't exactly know what the margins are at AJE - the 11th uplift in June 2019 was done at $64.84 (14,879 barrels to adme)
this generated $550k towards cost on a turnover of £960k
done at todays prices - expect turnover to be reduced to $520k ($110k towards costs)
So project debt may not be cleared

I do expect oil prices to increase when these market fluctuations stabilise in the coming months

Whole oil market is in a bad way now

Really bad day for all investors, thought we had the bottom last week but under 6k on ftse100 is a joke

There are very few winners on AIM
It’s all about timing, getting your entry and exit points correct and a lot of luck
Once in a while we get one that bags a lot of profit
A lot of the time we lose a little
The main market is costing more than the aim dabbling this week, coronavirus overdone??? When’s the buying opportunity on main market, got to be close

Mine was just a rough calculation but I assume there are the usual fees to be added, typically 10% extra is raised for fees but depending how raised it can be more or less

In regards to EER, they are in liquidation so not going to hold shares, if it is for 20m to 25m shares these will be sold pretty quick, it’s why my thoughts it’s a raise from current investors

25m new shares approx
$1m cash on top of that
$1.5m potential extra debt on top of that

Potentially a world class asset but going to be a while until phase 2 and with the additional debt there won’t be any cash to ADME for a while

Interesting to see who is going to subscribe for shared at a premium, where the other $1m comes from

Certainly an interesting development but not unexpected, it does highlight the mess that eer was in under OO though

the SP was never down - the 100,000 trade is UT - means it was a transfer between MM's
they often distort the price

the quicker the better for ADME - on all fronts
we all know that the legalities in Africa are somewhat challenging
its a bad time in general for oilers and china with corona virus

i do think the Corona Virus is been blown out of proportion - its no where as near as serious as SARS / EBOLA or many other similar fast spreading viruses
like Flu (which kills around 500,000 people annually) we will get wise to how to stop it spreading and cut the mortality rate down.
In 10 years time, its possible Corona Virus will be killing just as many as flu but it won't be news -

At the minute its just the in thing in the media - this is causing more problems for business's / trade than it really should

i was under the impression they had already done the uplift from the previous RNS but maybe not
we were expecting one in January, one in May and one inbetween - i would of thought March rather than February

theres virtually no one actually actively working now
theres no active operations
Carl is a proxy in the company and is part of other companies - he probably responds to a few e-mails and hopes that the funding gets sorted

seen them buys - back to waiting for now on what comes first
hopefully for shareholders the first investment comes sooner rather than later

holding reduced so more Buys than Sells on monday

probably a cash pay out above the recent placing price of 7p per share
