We also have a parallel issue with folks mortgaged to the hilt with flash leasehold cars on their drive ways, both of which they cannot reasonably afford. When intreat rates continue to soar and recession kicks in things are going to get tricky.....

I went self employed in 2019 and did not receive a penny of support. Without having filed accounts for 2018 or before there was no way of claiming or receiving support. No sure about bounce back loans - but the principle stinks.
I totally disagree with you comment: 'Value entrepreneurship by all means but not those pretending to do it'.
For many those who started business around the time I did, their customer base simply disappeared over-night. So for a business who has spent thousands starting up (catering for example) there was no possible way they could have survived.
I was quite fortunate as I have a single client who kept me going.
Too much money was squandered by government, for example dishing out cheques of £20k if you have a small storage unit.......................

Cuzzubbo brings an un-doubted skill-set to the table which justifies the appointment in its own right.

Perhaps Twigger saw the appointment as killing two birds: Tech knowledge + a friendly face for BHP.
I cannot believe there were not discussions with Cuzzubbo & BHP before he signed on the dotted line.

I am not suggesting that Cuzzubbo is going to be soft on negotiations with future suiters, but did BHP have enough of Mather? - yes. Did SOLG feel the need to keep BHP on board? - yes.

24 1/2 yrs working for BHP, with his last role being: Olympic Dam President + BHP President of South Australia.

Come on now lads, a few words said in a few ears and Cuzzubbo running the show @ SOLG, paving the way for a smooth transition for the purchase of either Cascabel or SOLG.

P.s. I am still fully of the opinion that Cuzzubbo has been brought in to steady the ship under BHP's direction.............

One point I picked up from the presentation was Cuzzubbo noted that 600 people have now moved to the Cascabel area, as a direct result of the prospects (and future work of course).

Having a workforce ready to start & settled into the local area must be a big tick for potential miners.............

Afternoon Quads. I have also watched the presentation twice. I fully agree with sentiment that the overall plan is a lot more targeted / focused which is great.

However, I interoperate Cuzzebbo's presentation as continuing with the same strategy for Cascabel as they have been doing for yrs (plan A), until an offer arrives (plan B).

Lets hope there is a bidding war after the issue of PFS.................

Oh dear - If SOLG go into production I will eat my hat.

Plan B is the only option SOLG want to run with be it JV or buy out................

Good question CD - I shed my holding of Joules early this morning & lost 4%. Transferred funds to SOLG.
I am now consider SOLG a safe haven, when a few days ago thought the opposite.

Any issue with this?

CD - I have been on this BB long enough to know that you spout more crap than most.

Anyway back to business - my main holding still SOLG, but CWR not far behind and my banker if things go Pete Tong.

I am still fully confidant that SOLG / Cuzzubbo will do the business...............
