Manager511, I hope you're right but may I remind you my friend that you only crystallize a gain on sale of the shares and you can only trade shares in a company that is listed, which this is not. In the meantime, enjoy your paper gains.
Manager 511, whilst I agree that there's not much point to Aquakidd's post (smacks of after-timing more than anything), yours is arguably the sillier post, with claims of making a fortune when this share is not even currently listed. I'm invested here and I hope for the best, but posts about how we're all going to make a fortune are just as daft as the definitive doom-mongering ones.
That would be nonsensical. The purpose of the placing is predominantly to finance a second production cell which itself is only required on the basis of increased production volume and therefore further contracts. Given the general tone of confidence around further contracts, I'm expecting an announcement with 2-3 months. We've seen previously that the share price is likely to jump in large increments directly off the back of contract news and I would expect the same next time. In an industry of this nature, we can't expect the news to come thick and fast, though I would classify 2-3 times per year as relatively thick and fast, if the news is significant enough each time! In the meantime, take advantage of a very reasonable share price if you feel so inclined.
That would be nonsensical. The placing is predominantly to finance the second production cell, which there would be no short-medium term requirement for without additional production the volume (ie contracts). The general tone of confidence re contract news means I would think we can expect news within 2-3 months, hopefully sooner. We've seen in the past that the SP tends to jump in large increments off the back of significant news, we just cant necessarily expect significant news to come thick and fast - though I'd say if the news is significant enough then 2-3 times per year is quite thick and fast for an industry like this! In the meantime, enjoy the opportunity to invest further at a reasonable price, should you be inclined.
Well, we're all more than capable of disaggregating the numbers so don't worry about that. But thanks for your undertaking nonetheless. I guess time will tell. Just hope you stick around. So many who are negative seem to disappear just as quickly as they arrived.
Wow, lying. That's pretty strong language to use on a public forum.
So, tell me one more thing. Will you undertake to make a full apology on this BB if the revenue guidance turns out to be approximately right - say £9m or more? Seems fair.
'DV is in trouble. They have already given up on several product lines altogether. Its not being able to make microtox reagents that is killing them'
Watergenius will now explain to us all how the financial results, (highly realistic looking) revenue guidance for 2021, and move to profitability in Q4 last year are all clear symptoms of a troubled company getting 'killed'. The floor is yours. Facts and figures, not hearsay, please.
There really do seem to be a lot of people here who aren't cut out for the ups and downs of investing and who also appear to believe that a few months is a long time horizon for a share. This is not an alternative to Ladbrokes being closed. For my own part, I have zero expectations around any COVID specific plays here and (bar a couple of mad days last autumn), nor do I believe they are priced in. There's enough good potential here regardless and in my view the SP represents good value without them. Stick with the fundamentals.
Ha, fair play Famou5, full credit for having a sense of humour about it. I'm sure we're all familiar with other BBs where people would have adopted another mode, if I can put it that way. Looking forward to more contract news soon.
Cash returned as of late yesterday. That means that Link Asset Services have returned it to your broker and there is no reason for your broker not to make it immediately available to you to invest.
Famou5, yes I have allocated shares in my holding and those are deducted from the open offer rejected line, but no cash holding back. I spoke to a very helpful guy at Zeus Capital, who explained that the cash (roughly £7.5m in this instance by my reckoning) is held by the nominated registrar - in this case a company called Link Asset Services. He is going to have a look through for me and advise the date on which they committed to return the cash, then we can see whether brokers are being tardy or reasonable. At a minimum, I learnt something!
I should be clear for anybody reading this that there is absolutely no implied criticism of either SCE or the open offer, just the time it takes the various third parties to restore the cash to its rightful owners!
Famou5, I'm also awaiting the return of my allocated funds in cash balance from HL. To have neither the shares nor the cash is unacceptable in my view. An aggregation of all of those amounts from thousands of individual investors is sitting in some entity's account making them money on the markets rather than in our accounts. I have just called HL to make this point and they claim that the full amount would have been sent to SCE and that they are waiting for the unconverted amount to be returned, and so it will take up to two weeks for the cash balance to be restored. That doesn't sound right at all. Does anybody know how the actual mechanics of the process works in terms of the movement of cash?
