You tend to forget that oil and oil exploration are the most ugly elephants in the fund managers portfolio. To appease pressure from their clients, they are selling, rather than buying. Put yourself in their shoes, and think about it. There are many, many, more PC options available. Being a LTH, I wish things were different, but sentiment rules their income of their clients money.

Bondholders have a legal prior charge on assets remaining over shareholders.

An ex-City pal described the present state and SP of HUR as option money. He meant the SP today represents the premium of a call option on HUR.

What gets me is that teachers and medical consultants etc don't get fired or laid off. They continue to get full pay whilst "On Suspension" ... sometimes for 5 years!
