And another trade of c392,000 shares at 270p.....SP ticking up a tad.

Another big trade went through ....249,000 shares at 270p.
Still no major moves in SP despite all the supporting positives.

You may be missing the point here....share price hammered because of solvency concerns while the distribution agreement with major Hong Kong company suggests these concerns are unfounded hence a small relief bounce.
Once the funding is confirmed and solvency concerns fully allayed the shares will rerate .

If the future is that bright surely raising £3/4 million or less in funding should be a no brained.

Well we will know our fate next week.
I cannot believe any competent management
would call an EGM on funding without having lined up options to raise such funding.
It would be grossly negligent and disengenous
to do so.
Hence I remain optimistic that funding is sorted despite share price.
If I am wrong I am going to take a huge hit and I will have to accept that I was utterly stupid.
However I have had some great winners recently so maybe my hubris got the better of me.
Not giving up yet...still a believer or a fool.
I will know next week.

Agreed totally...maybe the perceived threat of Chinese involvement will help smooth a more political favourable financing structure .

Don't worry yet as financing post-EGM should be achievable unless the Israeli
investment community has lost faith totally in the management.
Also watch out for the Chinese who may be surprise investors next week unless stymied
by the existing institutional shareholders or the US / Israeli governments.
All is not lost yet but getting close to midnight.

Totally agree...the grant was always going to be the icing on the cake.
The calling of the EGM was the main event in terms of funding....if they haven't got funding sorted now with the approval of the shareholders at the EGM guaranteed then you must question the management.
With c75% of the company owned by management/Institutions they must have had this
lined up in the past few weeks....only 5 parties to talk to including the 2 director shareholders.
It would be madness not to pump a relatively small amount in just as the company is set to take off.

Agreed ...CLN option only after a placing/rights issue is not possible.
We will be a little wiser ,I hope, after Mondays EGM.

The best funding option appears to be a convertible loan or similar with an interest rate of say 5% and a conversion to equity at an agreed price over the next year/ 18 months.
If they cannot organise this then a firesale to a larger entity at around current share price appears likely.
I cannot believe the Directors/Institutions will throw in the towel for the sake of a extra £2m or so.
Testing times no doubt but that's the risk we took.
Still all to play for.

As someone who has seen this all before I suggest we remain calm until after the EGM
next Monday.
Surely even the most incompetent management team would have lined up funding
options before the EGM....OTHERWISE WHATS THE POINT OF THE EGM.
I am not worried yet as the funding shortfall is small and surely not insurmountable to bridge.
Hang tough guys.....all is not lost

It will be interesting to see how the savvier US investors react to the Akili news
when Wall Street opens as the only current listed entry point to Akili Interactive is via Puretech.
Also, I expect Karuna to have a good day with US futures looking very strong.
If Puretech was listed on Nasdaq it would be up 25% + today on this news.
With over 20 further drugs and therapies moving along I am amazed Puretech
is valued at its cash plus Karuna share valuation.
I bought an additional 35,000 shares this morning at 257p to bring my total holding to 200,000.
Very confident of success here. DYOR

Totally illiquid share with the directors/Institutions controlling c 75% of the equity.
Like other large shareholders, I am locked in here for good or ill.
With a market cap of just over £ 9.5 million it appears massively undervalued unless we
are all missing something which is a possibility.
News flow now critical with clarity on funding/grant hopefully the catalyst for rerating with
with announcements of further deals providing fuel for lift off.
Strong nerves and patience needed.
