That was not disclosed when they issued the convertibles in June and is another factor in my concerns about any short term spike even on good news this week.
We will need some showstopping news on all fronts to push the SP through 20p in the short term.
Chairman Mao Tse Tim has firmly anchored the SP at 12p and we need something extraordinary to break this logjam imho

Fully agree as the US Investors have rights to convert 13m shares at c18p putting a further dollop of shares on the market which is the basis of my thesis that any rise on a positive SPA will be facing severe headwinds if the fast buck Freddys decide to cash in .
The question is who are the potential large investors who will take up the short term sellers shares.
That's my concern for next week in a nutshell.

We will find out this week who the new investors are and those existing shareholders who have bought more in the placing through what should be an enlightening number of holding RNS given the fact that c25% more shares will hit the market.
We know Lanstead didn't participate but did Zimmer?
The disclosure of these holdings may throw some light on whether we have longterm investors on board or some fast buck Freddys .

No disputing the importance of the SPA and IMMU has a history of disappointing but I feel there are quite a number of punters here waiting to ofload on news which could suppress any major spike in the short term.

I don't think the placees expect a negative SPA result and must have been reasonably reassured of a positive outcome but you never know with the FDA.
If the SPA is positive then IMMU is derisked until Phase 3 outcome and has cash for another 3 years.
Other news on Ureka.Incanthera and rest of world Lupizur agreement should keep things ticking over.
I am worried about the short term investors( punters) and maybe Lanstead and some of the new placees dumping stock on the news if the SP jumps.
I have seen it happen so many times but selling should be short lived and then the patient longtermers are in for an interesting time.

If all the short term traders sell on the SPA news then the SP will drop by 20% or more .
Then hopefully it will recover as more longterm investors move in.
That's my reading on the situation with so many anxious PI s awaiting the news next week.
If news is disappointing then we are in a lot of trouble.

With the Nasdaq tanking today maybe Chairman Mao Tse Tim has pulled a timely stroke in raising £6m....particularly if the correction gathers pace.
It looks like a good deal now as the bid approaches 12p...a penny over the placing price.
Now we have to sit back and wait as events unfold.

Hard to believe now that the share price hit 185p exactly 3 years ago and has dropped over 60% in the last 3 months and now has a market cap of just £ 6.5m.
If ever a share needed a boost it is now and hopefully management will have something positive to say at the Interims in the next week or so.
The Market is saying this company is without hope so crucial times ahead for our small band of brothers here.
Despite what Tracy is saying I feel if Ethernity's technology is cutting edge and world class that a big player would have made a bid for the company given its petty cash valuation.
I hope I am wrong but with no trades,SP stuck at 16p and zero market interest things looking very bleak.

Quelle surprise Chairman Mao Tse Tim has landed " an oversubscribed " placing prior to a vital announcement on the Avion/ FDA SPA due any day now.
What an achievement and only at a discount of c35% on yesterday's high...such genius.
None of the new investors and the recent US Funds are taking a punt here and have no worries about the risk given the imminent newsflow .
I wonder did Zimmer participate ..we may find out with the holding RNS which are sure to come in the coming days with 25% of equity issued in the placing.
We will soon find out who is travelling 1st Class and enjoying a bottle of bubbly while the rest of us are sipping on warm stale bitter.

Typical Tim getting his hands on some more funds from a favoured collection of Institutions and private investors at a price he knows will reward them in the short term and guarantee him his annual fee as Chairman for another 3 years....very smart by him.
He has let a lot of investors down in the past and now he has take the opportunity to deliver some payback for his connections with good news flow
certain to reward them soon particularly at a bargain entry price of 11p.
Nothing has changed except we have paused to let a few privileged passengers into 1st class just as the train leaves the station.

Finally some hope for the moribund share price with the announcement today that Puretech is actively seeking a NASDAQ listing in the near term
This move will transform the investment appeal of the company and hopefully the share price.
The UK listing has been a huge disappointment and time to move to the US where the companys operations and funded entities are located.
No movement in the share price and only a tiny amount of shares trade again today make the move to the NASDAQ all the more compelling.

All of your concerns are valid and reinforces the absolute necessity for deals and cash flow NOW
to enable the company to get into next year to reap the benefits of the 5G opportunities.
It may need a partner to get them there and hence I would rule out corporate action in the near term

I hope you bag a bundle here.
Hopefully the scramble by PIs to sell on SP jump in the event of good news is offset by Institutional/ professional buyers.
All depends on FDA agreement on the SPA and the precise parameters of any new Phase 3 trial.

I fully agree that we need contract wins in the short term to drive the SP through the warrants vesting strike prices.
We cannot wait for jam at end of 2021 without adequate funding to get us there...the AIM market takes no prisoners when companies run out of cash.
I am sure Levi and his team know this very well and have deals in the pipeline otherwise a larger predator will swoop and take the prize at our expense.
We need to get back to 40p soon and get the warrants exercised to fund the march into the sunny uplands in 2021.
I remain confident we can do it but it is all down to management who happily have plenty of skin in the game and everything to lose...like the LTHS here.

The reason the company hasn't raised more funds is that that the management and insiders have nearly 70% of the shares and do not want to be diluted to much lower levels by raising say £5m
from a big player(s).
It is a tightrope but the recent placing saw management stomp up enough cash to keep its
% holding intact which is a positive.
It's a classic risk reward investment in a tiny minnow...maybe 20 times gain or a big liss
You take you chances and ride the roller coaster or go somewhere else.

The SP is rock bottom because the 5G opportunities for Ethernity's tech were pushed out by about 18 months worldwide...190 million 5G users expected by end of 2020 but growing to 3 billion by end of 2025..about 2 years later than what was envisaged when Ethernity had it's IPO in 2018 and hence the funding difficulties it encountered.
The SP is priced at such a level that most investors
apart from a few here would steer well clear of of it.
Recent placing seen as desperate attempt to stave off major liquiduty crunch but we need deals in the short term to push SP through warrants thresholds to fund the company until the mega deals come through ...we hope..next year.
If all goes well this could be a massive success .
If not it will be sold for its IP at a knockdown price.
I remain optimistic .
