Both Advent International and Leonard Green are eyeing up the company with Advent executives even understood to have visited THG’s Manchester headquarters, according to The Daily Mail.

Shares have slumped 82% over the past year and the retailer, which was valued at £5.4bn when it floated in 2020, now has a market capitalisation of £1.62 billion.
