You could well be right. We all would like to get rich quick. Quick is the operative word here. As shareholders we are all a bit disappointed that the current offer doesn't achieve that. GP is probably no different. Starting off with a " bid from the wall" as auctioneers say, is clearly a way of getting the ball rolling. I wonder how Lidya are taking all this. Passively waiting for counter offers, or actively. The only thing odd in this would be sandstorms involvement. There would be little in it for them if they are merely a stalking horse.

I am concerned that there appears to have been an attempt to keep information from investors / the market whilst the companies drew up an agreement favourable to themselves. How else is the lack of further drilling information explained? And I just don't get why you sell a company where a world class resource is still being proven to the first bidder who walks by. Unless you're only in it to maximise your personal return and would like to exercise your options pronto, buy a yacht and take a seat on the new board.....

So guys, we think you should consider announcing incentives relating to director remuneration if a sale is made. You need to come out with something for yourselves. Then, we'd appreciate you not publicising data showing what a great asset this is as we don't want loads of others sniffing around. Keep the AISC and further drilling under wraps for example. Wait a few weeks whilst we watch the SP drift on a lack of news. And of course announcing our bid the week after your RNS about director remuneration would be a bit obvious!! Then recommend our bid. We're all happy. Except the shareholders, but who gives a monkeys about them.

I absolutely predict a prompt update on doubling of the resource if this deal goes through and a flood of held back (positive) drilling results to put smiles back on Sandstorm shareholders faces and grimaces to ours.

Why post any results pointing to an increase in resource if selling out quick....you can then say what a premium it all is to SP and longer moving average as SP has drifted steadily down.

Disappointed too. Can't help but recall the recent RNS stuffing GPs mouth with gold in the event of a takeover being accomplished...and his comments about his views on shareholders. Feels a bit like this has been a vehicle for a few to get very rich quick whilst throwing investors a few crumbs.
