Kevcan. I've wondered a lot about this. It can only be that they - PIs and IIs- do not yet believe in the profitability being assured long term. In other words, they don't believe the calculation that Nick regularly posts is correct.
I'm baffled by this. How other V producers who are years away from production soar on the back of a price rise in a (for them) yet-to-be produced commodity is impossible to understand given the static nature of our own SP. A discussion with a friend might give an insight: he invested £10k after I tipped him about BMN. However, even after buying in he didn't know about V rebar standards and I had to explain VRFBs from scratch. It seems that people just don't put the effort in to researching in any depth. So we remain an undiscovered jewel.

Exactly FM seems to have been able to prize Sojitz's share from them for a fraction (20%)of its implied value. Given that that is based on a valuation that does not reflect the current profitability of Vametco it's an absolute masterstroke in negotiating. I wonder if Kirkwood gets the credit in part......

This might be better deal even than the initial Vametco purchase in terms of revenues at a time when profitiability enormous.
Effectively their share bought for around the profit it would generate in 1 year....

Points toward a big sell probably of warrants as there is no way the MMs would leave themselves exposed to potential rises in SP if these were uncovered by a ready supply of shares.

I have a different take on our last RNS. It just showed we're making a shed load of money rather than shedloads.......or as Nick woukd say ...cash elephant rather than whale

I have some sympathy with that view McMuff. We can't go on pointing to the fact that the markets don't understand how profitable we are as a reason for the SP not rerating to the levels we believe are appropriate if the company doesn't publish results to correct this view. But I do trust Fortune to get it right. There must be a reason...

Nick. What's your take on the "late" arrival of interim results. I know they are not a requirement and that there us no deadline date. But it does seem to be taking an age to get them out.
