£75 000 000 buy back
Bold move, have we a new director ? Looks good margins ok
its always nice to spend money but debt is expensive at the moment
Strategy could be good for long term investors depending on future government funding
Thank's for feedback I have sold and
accepted 107.5 I still have 54 shares (a stray old share certificate) that will give me the right to post on here LOL
I have made about 7.5% over many many years a terrible investment
I hope this share does recover for the sake of the employees, the investors and the customers
Good luck
I invested massive at about 75 to bring my average down to 100 I am very nervous of a return to the lows was it 35 . I have to much invested and intend to drastically reduce my holding for peace of mind.
I don't like Sunak I don't trust him he is not for the north, after seeing the u tube video of him basically saying " stuff levelling up I am supporting the south" I think he is more for the wealthy among us ( not me)
I have done it before where I sell just before a dividend or a sale or what-ever.
Is there any money coming our way in the near future ?????
Yes good point you only get the dividend on shares you actually own.
The SAYE is a contract to buy at a pre set price ( 20% below market value like buying £5 notes for £4 ) at the end of a set time three years
That is what I meant by where or how you hold the stock.
Sorry I was not very clear.
Long long time ago
I was a First group employee and invested in two schemes BAYG buy as you go the dividend was re invested in shares automatically
The other scheme SAYE save as you earn I am pretty sure I received a sividend by way of a check.
It also depends where or how you hold the shares
I don't know either just trying to have confidence in B.O.D. ( board of DICTATORS
Time will tell, it was the contingent element of the offer I did not like itfelt wrong pretty vague and promoting an element of the value within the stock itself. We should receive that amount simply by holding.
Come on Mr Jim or can I call you Jaffa I considered reporting your post but know where you are coming from, Hey be the better man.
Totally in my opinion
What date are the dividends paid ?
Sad to see share price drop, but pleased to see that the value is considered higher than the offer.
Regarding the contingent element of the offer is'nt that value still there within the company assets.
this stock going ex dividend will also have caused a drop in share value.
Something to do with a tin full of biscuits being worth more than a tin with no biscuits in. ( sorry private joke )
Thank's Davde for the information regarding contingent
I tendered half my shares had no clue where this stock value was going ( my cost was average 100 so halved my risk) was the right thing for me to do at the time.
With this offer on the table and the contingent possibly holding so much value and an imminent dividend why has'nt the value of this stock gone up further
When I feel annoyed at tendering I watch the vidio PYUCHEK posted mocking the share holders that did not tender
My Opinion The offer is 118 at the moment cash element. Regarding the contigent element of the offer I agree there will be no shares in an investment fund.
Presumably there is money left over from previous sales First transit and Greyhound and this would be passed on or maybe even liabilities still exist.
45.6 I would like more firm information regarding this amount before I consider the offer more than just 118 ( way below market value) so on your bike.
Yep Sell enough to take your investment back . But still room in this share to make more,I am a long term investor ,rretired employee with an average of 100 per share . I have just sold enough for a good holiday ( lets hope the airports get there act together ) They should give all the work shy the option " work or go to Rwanda" and let the immigrants have the jobs.
117 What is causing this rise Rush to buy at 115
Have I missed something ?
NO I don't think it was time to sell. ( easy later)
PYUECK that link you put up 30 11 21 Its still funny but for different reasons.
Sold about half of mine ( tendered)
Still in heavy at about 100
They are cutting it a bit fine ( dividend before end of financial year ? )
105.5
Thanks , I thought I had imagined it or seen it on another site. I have energy shares phillips 66 had a good month but not 1000% L.O.L.
Hi Yesterday there was a post here regarding SERINUS ENERGY ( SENX)
Where did it go was it a scam or something. ?
did anybody else see it ?
Thank's for the advice everyone
Agree totally would like to get that dividend if only so I could say " told you so" No rush and no need to panic either way in my opinion would be nice to see 109
Looking back ( to the left) it has made a good recovery last eighteen months what was it 32 ?
Should I stay or should I go now ???
Very hard to call this one I would love to hear opinions on where this S.P. is going . Had a big tidy up regarding this share tendered about 60 % mainly through being lazy.
I am in at about 100 so a healthy profit of 5% ish and try not to think of what could have been.
Good to read back at predictions,
Who was it said the S.P. should reach the tender price,
I am not sure what if any money is left from the sale,
A biannual divi has been promised , when is the first one being paid.
Rights issue S.P. goes down , buy back and S.P. goes up
The S.P. was also effected by world influences like most company's last few weeks.
Lets see what the special dividend ( before end of calendar year ) brings and how it effects the S.P.
What to do next
Are the 500m shares removed there are only 1,223 M shares in issue.
I invested massive at about 75 to bring my average down to around 100 so tender has helped( 10 % ish but very brief )
It would have been nice to have had this tender in normal circumstances ie without covid and world wide fluctuations.
Although you can see the effect the tender offer has had on the charts ,still very similar to other company charts that are just reflecting covid impact ect .
I am usually 100% in or 100% out but no idea really where this is going so edged my bets this time.
67 % ended up less than that must depend where shares are held.
B.A.Y.E. scheme is great value but not flexible. work out what get for your money taking tax and national insurance into consideration some of the shares in your three year pot will have only cost you less than 20p.
I would leave them where they are .
