... is a 5h1t sandwich. Reading between the lines it would appear that COPL have been successful in aquiring CUDA. I think this is good. Others will disagree. Production was as expected BUT we should start to see a big increase in volume over the next 12 months. Mr Little (not Sid I hope) will use his expertise to get a better refinancing deal to push the company towards it's long term goals.
To be negative... I don't know who actually wrote this update but it was poor. Poor presentation and poorly worded. Very dour and didn't exactly set us on fire but it is done now. The comms from this company need sorting out. The website is improved but could be better. A better strategy of releasing regular news and production updates is needed urgently to maintain investor sentiment. The company is acting like it is still the 1960s rather than the twenty first century and the digital age.
To be positive and realistic too we can say that COPL IS a sleeping giant. At some point in the next 24 months this giant will awaken and when it does it will be spectacular. But we have to wait and I have no doubt that COPL will remain a traders delight for a bit longer yet.
Patience!

... picture a rough cedar clad shed permanently manned by a Jack Hargreaves type character smoking a pipe. occasionally hitting the keys on an old fashioned ribbon typewriter. the ribbon needs changing... but Jack doesn't care, he's happy.
COPL results will come in their own good time.
Thank God tonight is my last shift for a couple of weeks. Good Luck for tomorrow on the markets.

I'm quietly optimistic for a decent update for the future progress of this company. I'm not expecting fireworks re the current production bopd figures... I'm more interested in other news. We have been starved of news of late and I know there are probably valid reasons for this blackout but still...
Still on these bloody night shifts and really need a little boost to help end the nightmare! Might have to hang on another 12 - 18 months. £3.25 I can go... £3.50 and I can definitely go. Anything higher is a huge bonus. Good news later today or Friday 7am will certainly help us all on our way to getting the true worth of this stock. Breaking 40p for a start would be great.
Ok back to work...Hiiiiiigh Hooooo! Hi ho, hi ho

Sorry if my post doesn't make any sense, I'm just a bit tired.
@acciesLad... I'd go along with that. As for shares in AAA trading at 30p, well if somebody offers 30p and you accept that is your decision. It reflects the individual sellers valuation of the stock they hold for their particular circumstances. Who knows why they want to sell so low... maybe they just need the cash for something else. Personally i think you'd have to be pretty desperate to sell the shares for 30p.
When AAA eventually relist I expect a sp of 140p - 160p and possibly more.

Jules...
Somebody mentioned earlier about doing an autobiography. That is something you could do. My cousin did this... not about an individual but about his family and extended family. Got it published and as a family history it was very good.
Anyway, something to think about.

@Jules007 My sincere condolences on the very sad loss of your great friend Jay. I am sure that you will give him a fitting eulogy to express yours and that of others thoughts on Jay. He sounds like a wonderful, character and bon viveur of life and making other people happy.
I hope that his memory will live on for you and that it can inspire you to great happiness in life.

...investing in COPL" (to be said in the dulcet tones of the late (& great) Jimmy Greaves. A funny old game indeed.
Some good posts today. I hope Tiburn has something for later today or tomorrow (probably waiting on news/rna like the rest of us mere mortals). I am optimistic that news will contain lots of updates for progress over the next 18 months. Unfortunately I cannot really wait decades for this to come good but anytime in the next 48 - 60 months would be good.
Looking at the bigger picture globally, any company with proven reserves of oil on the US mainland WILL be worth a lot of money. As such hopefully COPLs Wyoming asset will become a strategic asset and that will make it even more valuable which ultimately benefits us.
Night shifts for me starting tomorrow so some good news would be most welcome!

... see some great news here especially tomorrow (will it be PM for when the Chunkies awake?), however, September 2022 - June 2023 is the period I expect to see some serious sp action.
Patience is the key word right now.

@GordonG... I believe there will be news within the next 4 - 6 weeks. Whether it will be good news or news about the expected international market, share prices etc is just pure speculation. I think a lot is happening behind the scenes and I also believe they are aiming to re-list when the world is a little less volatile!... andI don't just mean financially. So, I wouldn't be surprised to see AAA trading again as early as August and as late as November. But only the BoD know the answers!
Good Luck

... @gold001 your post of 1543 "This is a lifestyle company for AM. He does feck all for 400k per year + erm let's say bonuses.
No chance of a JV or Takeover anytime soon".
I don't do 'lifestyle' companies... only if I own said company. So you have invested in COPL... by your own words 'a lifestyle company'. Hmm... I detect a selfish ulterior motive and I don't like it one little bit. Please take your FUD elsewhere because quite frankly it is getting farking boring now.
Good Evening.

I didn't know Jay on this BB but condolences to his family and friends here and elsewhere.
Some things and events in life surpass our day to day activities and when we lose someone... even a casual acquaintance, their death brings everything into perspective. In many respects our lives are all about saying goodbye to the people we love.

... I'd accept getting taken over for $4B in say 18-24 months... $8B would be nice but we mustn't be greedy!
I can dream and nothing wrong in that... even $1.5B would be good.
Night shift looms for me once more... Good Luck ALL here (even the naysayers!)

... COPLs current assets and equipment, they should be 150p so no I disagree... we are NOT fairly or correctly valued. But it is what it is AND it will correct and rerate in the fullness of time.
I'm off to bed...
Nos dda...
... sound like they're getting desperate. Once the company is correctly valued and P2 reserves independently qualified, anybody here thinks that this stock will be taken over for pennies is deluding themselves. This might be their wish for selfish and nefarious reason but I suggest that when these posters deviate from sensible criticism of the stock to one of instilling fear, uncertainty, and doubt then they should be suitably shunned and if need be ignored. Constructive criticism IS good... bull5h1t not so good.
I've said it before and I'm going to repeat... I am not selling a bean until COPL fulfils it's true value. at a minimum I would accept nothing less than a m/cap of £1.5B/$2B and if I have to wait a while, so be it.
Now back to my night shift...
