Data, prioritising it.. very simply the lower priority data may get binned during high activity, so has to be re-transmitted by the end devices.. You wouldn't be aware unless it was really bad..
You also get queues so data moves into prioritised queues, each queue is serviced at different rates, a bit like waiting for a ride, and those guys with the premium tickets go straight to the front,,
This happens throughout the data network all the time...So if your broker has just the standard services, when networks get congested data gets dropped,, and then can their office network handle the through put..The more thats gets dropped the more that gets retransmitted too
You could be right about being pulled, as if I attempt to sell in the 1st second I dont have to wait the full 15 to trade it again
Dusters, now I would love to know how they get the prices so low, every experienced traders knows to hold for the bounce and not sell at the bottom.. I think they have a shed full and kick start it all
