They were looking for funding which was to be part of a deal, something associated with land that did'nt have permits to drill or maybe exploit tar sands. but their neighbours have just been given permission to drill, extract and commercialise tar sands..

There were a few FOMO/pump days just before news drilling Tai. probably MM off-loading their books

Tai, they couldn't retrieve the string for days, was that a problem with the direction of rotation so unable to undo the strings joints ?

but, also when they announced drilling deeper into the basement they did'nt get much further, that sounds like another tai-blip play

That rig is capable of drilling 150m and more in a day..Could have reached TD Monday morning , that was 3 days

Maybe they have gone fishing already..

Having already drilled the basement you would think the would have selected heads that ensure better progress than at Tai,

Maybe like Tai, they will keep drilling until they find what they want or something fails.

So with He1 targeting a faulted basement, and If I recall correctly they failed to make ground drilling Tai's faulted basement there just might slow progress, or a drill string breakage or other delay.. So will be watching..

We buy because we believe the sp is going to rise, if you sell early you are not optimising your trades..

Bought 1.14p, it climbed to 1.27/8p, my chart wasn't errored to my advantage to see the sellers arrive, so I was too slow, so I held for the dip and go again,,it stalled and I sold, £350 profit, walked the dog, came back and it had bounced.. Twice £1k was missed.. oh well next time, £350 is still great..

Next pump I was not holding any..

Finally bought 1.27p, which was a newly established trading range low, be patient get those lows.. following rise I missed

Spudding RNS , £1k profit, but all accepted quotes pulled, what can you do other than wait another day.. Next day NT to sell, 30 minutes .. £25 profit..

I can't recall finding any other share so challenging to sell..

Early days that £25 was not worth the effort, but when including the loss that would have followed I saved a few hundred.. but did'nt buy back..

Matd, we all thought, or at least I did, that the sp was holding back because July was not confirmed, yet now it is, there is no real movement.. ?

But the price movement appears similar to drilling an explorer where people de-risk, at spud, TD, during and before results..

Not sure if they are going to flow that well before connecting it up, if so whether thats this stage or later, something that has not been clearly communicated.

Some suggesting the production deal will move the price, not sure that will hold as they have to flow that oil first, and complete this and the next stage..

who knows, just make sure you take profit..

GEX, is tuff one as its early days, so least risk operationally, and near the lows, and if anything like HEX then offers the chance for a transformational(CEO talk) lift to ones portfolio.. Even if it goes south a MC exceeding £20m is very likely before anything really happens, unless ?

It was an extra week for the mates to jump... said they did'nt go any deeper because it was end of season, that was Aug/Sep.. While they just drilled November and January..

A seemingly slow yesterday, then all those delayed trades appear today telling a different story. No idea if there will be a drop back to 13p, but I will be watching...

Hex, DM said he will be announcing significant updates during drilling, and then wire-line, and I guess probably flow testing, might even get the off-taker line again... He is obviously baiting the traders,

So maybe after the spud induced dip(if) there could be a lower priced entry for the gamblers

Since forwarding selling shares which are yet to be approved is very bad practice, as if not approved fines are very likely, I suspect flippers will off-load from the 13th once the vote is known.. Not much evidence of flipping on the chart to date ..

If I buy it will have to be bottom of the current trading range, not sure about this one, what's the chances there could be a good rise towards AGM, and then during drilling...

Is there a timeline for the drill and testing ?

It is a massive drill - I think there might actually be two drills - coming up at Char. However, although it's a discovery, Char have not flow tested it, and so the drill(s) will include flow testing. So there is still some de-risking to do of the Anchois discovery by Energean, the JV partner. But all this only matters if you intend to hold for results.

The other factor here is that the placing shares won't land until 14 August, because it needs an AGM and vote. So will there be a drag on the share price until then? And will placing churn kill any rise that you might expect before drilling, which is also due to start in August? So could be a situation where you end up having to wait for results.

But Chariot does have a very good looking portfolio of projects, and are looking to add a Namibian oil play to it as well.Legalwolf

With this multi-objective well we are looking to upscale the development of the Anchois gas project by testing two undrilled gas sands with the potential to increase the field resources by 60%,

The Anchois-East well will be a multi-objective well, encompassing an appraisal of the discovered sands of the field, exploring deeper targets and also carrying out a flow test on the main gas bearing sands. This well will be suspended for use as a potential future producer and an optional second well is also possible in Q4 2024.

SUBJECT TO A SUCCESSFUL DRILLING OUTCOME, THE PARTNERSHIP IS LOOKING TO REACH A FINAL INVESTMENT DECISION ("FID") AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE, FOR WHICH A FURTHER $15 MILLION IS PAYABLE TO CHARIOT.

Our flow test at the OBA-1 well on the Loukos licence planned in Q3 will also inform our forward programme onshore, as we look to unlock and develop an early commercial opportunity here, through our recently announced partnership with Vivo.
