I guess this box is mainly for the use of old batteries as new ones have been shipped around the world for many years as single items or installed in products.. Also battery manufacturers have been shipping batteries in bulk to mobile phone producers. So the MOD should be able to order new and the safe delivery be the responsibility of the supplier.. They probably get to keep the package/container too as they may be put into storage before use..

Heron 1, Mmmmm, I am expecting the flow rate to be on the low side, since they stimulated the well, flowed/retrieved stimulation fluids, but said very little about the oil..

Unfortunately I know very little about the process, but I assume they were measuring the amount of returned fluid, I would imagine a budget contractor just filling up containers and noting the level, while others would also be measuring the flow rate to estimate time to complete the job, and once the oil flows its initial rate...

They have now changed those perfectly functional road side gutter drains on the main street the school resides, the new ones have the widest slot openings, and thinnest grids of all the different styles surrounding the school. So the most likely of all the drains for a toddlers foot to go down, dogs paw or pram wheel... There is a cover near the school a lot safer design..

The other week a road here was closed temporarily as part of a prefabricated building was being delivered to a site...

The site entrance was a recently bulldozer constructed style inclined gravel road which the all terrain crane used to get into position ready to unload the building.

The building was delivered on a road going flat bed, low to the ground, totally unsuitable for the site entrance..

Where was project management , I bet it was all organised working from home, and the mess up was the first visit to site

Anyway I heard that attempt at delivering the 1st prefab section cost £120,000.. I believe a total of 7 sections will be delivered, would it have been cheaper to build on site,..

It's a local council project, new pre/after school care building, gov funded.. . All fine but there is a £22bn black hole, and outside of teaching hours the schools directly opposite and adjacent have plenty of free space as they are empty.... so why not utilise the existing buildings.. ?

My mate, works in education, got a new laptop to work at home during covid, and got a new one returning to work, again both gov funded

Main Gov wants to close a £22bn hole, commit £22bn to carbon capture, honour a pledge of £11.6bn in overseas aid for the climate crisis , allow councils vanity projects,.. and help fund Ukraines war and all the donated gear needs replacing..... something has to give....

1st visit .Traffic cones put out to stop people parking, although a car parked in the way no note placed on windscreen, or cones placed either side to deter others..

2nd Visit .line painters paint up to cars

3rd line painters return to finish off,(leaving cones. why can't they take them back to yard)

4th, All cones placed on same side of road for collection

5th, stilling waiting to see if cones are collected
