ALL, front page showed the All in costs at price way higher then current spod price, put me off buying, especially as I did'nt think the drop to 13p could be accounted to the Gov delaying the ML.. So that the spot price was the reason, and missed out on that low.. But those bettered research would have know the first 2 years costs were cheaper...

There a few points I would like to get a better understanding of with some help from the guys here, but somebody is very likely to take the discussion to the BB..

So inflation has added about $1.5m per well, so we gan guess at another $12m to get to Heron 5, and maybe 3D seismic..

And we have to wait to see what rate the stimulations achieve at each well.. The recent fracs I have followed all needed extra work to clean up and get the wells flowing the higher rates..

There is a note, 2022 estimating the cost to bring Heron 1,2 & 3 online at Us$9m.

2021 notes, saying a Base development of 5000 bopd, has Opex $10m per year..

Would be nice to know what losses can be claimed back through tax if any, imagine 5 wells producing, room for more, debt free and tax to be reclaimed against profits

We can only speculate.. Companies tout the debt route all the way into development..

Its early days, if I was a bank I would want to see long term flow rates proved to ensure reserves are as expected.. then again Zephyr has a well investor interested in stumping up $7m to drill a lateral extension for a cut of profits from their recently drilled 16-2R well..

I can speculate on a number of reasons why the price might be where it is, but unfortunately if I mention it here it will likely be posted on the Matd BB.. Since its uneducated guess work, I will keep quiet..

Is there a presentation showing the costs of wells, Opex, Capex , breakeven and profit ?

If Matd can get another big raise ready for next years drill, they could avoid debt, making it a lot more attractive for takeover especially if Heron is proving itself.. A company built and sold, all paid for by the PI...

Could that China stimulus, or oversold bottoms ?
