Well maverick, your £3 target is looking more realistic nearly every day and if we get there £3.20 - £3.30 will be in sight which would probably get us back in the FTSE 100. Got to think that the brains at the merchant banks/ brokers will be sharpening their pencils ready for an upgrade or two.
Another piece of drone wisdom. 5 Mar '19 Price: 222.70 Drone123 37 posts Remains Stagnant Amazing how despite all the hype about Guyana the SP remains dormant - will it ever wake up ? I can only anticipate that a real rock breaker of a discovery might, only might, budge it off its back side..... Until then - c'est la vie No Opinion
So Drone. By your own words you were invested in Tullow before. 22 Feb '19 Price: 222.30 Drone123 37 posts RE: Re. Tullow Full year results. Was Uganda a massive financial disaster or not ? YES Have the management learnt their lessons ? MAYBE Are we certain that Guyana will be any different ? NO The YES answer is what led to the PLUNGE in the SP and quite rightly so The MAYBE answer is the uncertainty that investors in Tullow are looking at - PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE The NO answer is what gives caution to the wind - past lessons of simply ploughing into buying shares on Tullows first real frontier monetisation showed what a long term calamity it was. As I said before, I an not hear to be part of the Jolly Ol' Tullow Boys Club.....and support their every achievement at the expense of brushing under the carpet their failures [aka the "damage limitation" approach] Nor have I heard any reason on this BB of anyone making credible sense as to why we should buy at this price. I assume you want to lobby the share because you want it by all means possible to go higher,. Once the poo drops the SP will drop to below 2.00 and I MAY consider re-buying. No Opinion
Drone. You are quite right. I have lost money. Also made money. I haven’t lost money recently as I have changed my strategy. I said when Tullow was below £2 that I thought it would be a good investment especially as it would avoid brexit related and political turmoil.
Pelle. Hopefully this link will give you the live price. http://www.m.livecharts.co.uk/MarketCharts/brent.php
Drone, you are quoting me on a different stock. Namely Tyman. Am level there. 25% up here. 15% up on AGK which I mentioned I’d bought on this thread. So what if you are laughing. I actually feel pity for you.
Have to agree. Bit of a red flag is the fact that the 2p buyers in the placing don’t appear to be buying now. Sales are so low that even if they increase by 60% for the next three years they would only be around £2.5m. By that time our money will be gone and without a bio collaboration I just can’t see us being worth much at all.
I really don’t know how to value this business now. Market cap equals money in the bank so you get the technology and the business for free. Only trouble is, it’s loss making and unless something turns up like it did for Mr Micawber, likely to be loss making a while longer yet. I won’t put any more dosh in here until or unless sales increase very substantially.
Not sure if this link will work. As far as I can tell, it’s all been sells so far today. https://www.nexexchange.com/company-all-latest-trades?isin=GB00B547ZY09&listingtypeid=PLSU
