It's going to be interesting at the presentation this morning. Everyone waiting for news on orders including me.

I'm looking forward to questions people will ask Al tomorrow. Apart from the obvious when is the sales starting, I'm sure we are part of the 40000 trial the Govt wants to start. All about timing, my wife keeps asking me when are Avacta going to start selling their test. I told her all about timing but I think news is imminent. It wouldn't surprise me to have an RNS released tomorrow, if not of contracts of being a key participant in a large trial to get the UK out of lockdown. Either way should be a green day and week ahead!! GL All not long now!!

Will be interesting to see what investors think tomorrow but hopefully positive sentiment and SP heading northwards!! Good post PL!!!!

Morning All, on Andrew Marr, interview with Dr Susan Hopkins talking about a Govt trial recruiting up to 40000 people with daily LFT testing. Talks of possibly looking to see if Govt can get rid of quarantine with double vaccinated and have daily testing. Avactas time has come!! Bring on tomorrow should be interesting. GL All

My guess nailed on for an RNS on Monday prior to the presentation, I would be very suprised if this weren't the case! Going to be a very interesting update as everyone's main thoughts, where is news on the contracts to who and when we starting to sell. GL for the weekend Monday not too far away!! ;)

I would be very surprised if no RNS before Mondays's presentation. Either today or Monday am I reckon!!

Big Al surely won't go into the session on Monday without some concrete news. Question after question will be when is the test on sale, where are the contracts and timescales. He knows that, we do also, my bet is an RNS tomorrow or Monday and it will be good!!

End of Aug, it could be Avacta supplying the tests after the Innova contract ends??? Mmmm... interesting!! And with presentation due on Monday, that would be the big announcement and hence rise today. Maybe I'm wrong!

We are going to be living with Covid like we do with flu. I would say it's on the cards travel will certainly open up particularly for those vaccinated or have excemption. The delta variant is everywhere and as Bull says its what translates into hospital omissions. Should start seeing tick up in SP now, as market will price in at long last the opening up of the travel sector in the next few weeks will most certainly on the cards. My guess now start of Aug latest!! We will see!

I saw this and just read the article, Govt under enormous pressure from its own MPs, I would say this is on the cards and hopefully materialises! Otherwise UK will be left behind with most of Europe opening up.

I think the back benchers from all parties will be putting the Govt under enormous pressure to do something with the travel industry and get a future re opening date. Grant Shapps will be accutely aware that Summer holidays are when the airlines make most of their profits. I still think we may open up before end of the four weeks and if not intl travel either way from 19th July to coincide with school summer holidays. Its not just us of course we need other countries to accept us, so need to have big increase in those vaccinated with 2nd jabs. If the airline industry and hospitality isn't opening up, thousands more jobs lost, the Govt will be under pressure to extend furlough beyond Sept which they won't want to do. People have had enough, I think markets realise this also and think there will be some sort of holidays abroad even if just for August, hence SP not dropping too much and around mid 190s. I remain invested, this final lockdown will be the last!!

Jesk I was thinking the same, it's the million dollar question, when is the test on the market and where are the contracts, otherwise a short business update.

I think if large contract orders come in, this will focus the minds of those CEOs from potential suitors watching from the side lines!! Will be interesting times ahead!! Just need to see some orders now!!

My bet on a decent RNS before the presentation otherwise most obvious question, where are the orders. There will be news, I'm sure of it!!
